i got a Q on tradeskills

in Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted

ya i got a Q on tradeskill i was reading that Q&A and i saw a few tradeskill and stuff here is a list

 

blacksmithss are a general crafter of weaponry  and tools blacksmiths over a range of skills involving the gathering processing and item crafting from metel stone and wood resources.

now when it says gathering dose that mean i can mine thos resources?

 

and as for the miner trade skill it says metel stone and gem resources can he do wood too or no?

    Hi,

    That is all the info they gave, however each trade skill has the indication that it has a gathering component to it.  As you can only be in one trade skill school at a time, that only makes sence.  However, I also read that there is a gatherer school so I am not sure what that means, maybe it is someone who just gathers and has a greater chance of success at finding, getting better stuff.
