ive been search for ages 
its seemed like ive searched this site and one other but nother im considering xiah or whatever its called i need something either like runescape or rose cuz i have 2 rl friend that like to play online games and they like different choises so i dunno which one i will choose so please post some suggestions here with links please

Yes you walk around, but you walk around in a text world, with room descriptions written in paragraphs, stories, etc. We also have a mapping system that is semi-graphical that you can see where you are in an area, in the world, etc.
The genius of text games is that there is no limit to what can be done. We are not limited by graphics. I posted this earlier on another thread:
Text-based MMORPGs are still fairly popular, despite the multitude of graphical games out there.
Think about it like this...graphic games will always be limited by the very technology that everyone is so amazed by. The pictures are beautiful, the effects are stunning. Yet because of these very factors they eat up huge amounts of memory, require top of the line pcs to operate, and frequently require large cash outlays in software, updates, upgrades, and perks. In contrast, text base MUDS are almost unlimited in the number of zones they can put in, the number of people they can accomodate, and any amazing effect that can be imagined because ...well, text does not take up the space or cost what graphics do. The adventures in a text base game like Medievia are limitless, and because MUDs are constantly growing, changing, and adding new things they will never have the constraints placed on them that graphics do. A text base mud is only limited by their implementors imaginations, not by the amount of space on their hds or the amount of memories in their computers.

Here's a novel idea. check the sticky at the top of the forum. I know it's tricky cause it's called FREE/MMORPG LIST.
If you already checked that list i would have to say...you get what you pay for, and Free MMOs are usually free for a reason.

Believe it or not, there is very exciting PvP action in our game called Chaotic Player Kill- areas where players go to, explore, gain experience, obtain equipment, but also fight with other players and if killed, could lose their most valuable equipment. If you don't think a text game can get your blood flowing, you've never played Medievia

You should try Illutia. If you want a 2D game that is. Illutia (formally know as Aspereta) is a 2D world with hundreds of people and over 100,000 different ways to make your charactor. It is in beta now but in a month it will open a P2P server and a F2P server. Illutia also has everything from huge staffs, to hulking armor, and you can even fight cows ^^. Anywhoo give it a try!
