New Conflict: DC -vs- Odin

Greetings,



After holding talks with DC regarding friendly PvP over the past week, DC has backed off and has declared war on the Sons of Odin. We have always said that we will not strike the first blow, and so, war is upon us. We can't say we didn't expect this from some of the leaders of DC after the recent threats to siege us but now we know that the threat is real. The council will decide tonight on how we will move forward and we will take certain measures from there.

    One of the main reasons we have gone to war is because they broke the rules of engagement by grief killing a respawned naked member twice when both sides clearly stated do not kill nakeds and do not grief. To be honest Odin put up with alot from DC, including random killing for no reason without any word from DC as to (lets pvp or anything) when we thought we had a nap. This is just the last straw (i tried to keep both sides friends but DC have pushed it.)

    Am I the only one that finds it funny that Odin acts as the victim even though it was them who deserted DC during the war. That is one hell of a bitchslap right there and enough reason to go to war. Desertion shouldn't be taken lightly, and they deserve everything that is coming to them imo.

    So it is basically DC fighting itself. 

     

    Rohn since username brought up the population.  You were one of the people saying the population was surging.  The quarterly shows that it has not seen a significant surge in population at all and the forums complain about low pop all the time.  Where is the surging population that you spoke of?

    It would appear this post doesnt lend itself to discussion. 4 out of 8 posts deleted, with the two remaining reported. Perhaps we could keep all the "fight/conflict" posts in one thread rather than spamming each new event? Mortal Online is a PVP game, these fights really should be the norm.

    I love how my post was reported for just saying both guilds have under 10 people. 

    Odin used to be part of DC.  Because of actions and personal play styles some people left DC and formed ODIN.  DC had less than 20 active people before the split.

    How was what I said trolling?

    One would think background info on the guilds involved would be prudent to the "discussion".  Are we talking 10 people? 100? 1000?

    See, this is the stuff thats just wrong.

    To your eyes, two Guilds fighting with approx 10 members on each side is not newsworthy. The truth is, those two guilds represent about 1/3 of the total population of MO.

    Therefore, 33% of the players in MO are at WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sounds more exiting that way.)

    -On a side note Henricks is either on vacation (again), hiding or not working weekends. I am sure someone will give us a report on his dining experiences once his vacation ends (I think its a 2 weeks of vacation per week worked at SV), he is found, or the weekend ends.(I know its a long weekend here in the USA but SV adopts the holidays from every culture on the planet)

    This kwanza (spelling?) dont be expecting any patches or game fixes , mkay. SV will be getting in touch with their inner african american roots.
