borring

Asmodeus_Asmodeus_ Member Posts: 223

i'm a lvl .... 60 mage for awhile now and im borred with the game! totally nothing to do.... i have gotten my magister set and im not crazy enough to spend ages in getting 'a little bit' better equipment, i got my own guild and everything: 117 members 50 lvl 60s yet we failed our try today at MC it's to FREAKIN hard, the COOL instances are impossible for a rather casual gamer(me) to do with his guild. and all lower needed ppl raids get borred quickly or you get done with them fast, for example you have everything you need from that specific instance.. pvp in wow is the biggest and hardest grind mill there is, you have to compete against others no LIFE, ppl that's just crazy for me to do and utterly pointless as i wont win eventually even if i switch to hardcore mode eventually i go back to casual mode fast. Just my thoughts: THis game sucks when it comes to end-game. I never believed it, but now that im a prtty much a veteran lv 60 it came true that it really gets borring.. even bought CoH now to play that once in a while when im on my comp and i usually just log-on to WoW just only to manage my guild and very sometimes do a little instance ;/.

Conclusion: Blizzard leaves out perfect end-game, it's no fun to be a veteran lv 60 anymore you know to much. And everything looks the same thesedays. and just to start another character just to get back to this stage is worthless.

i have to agree, i got 60 VERY early in the game, did everything up to battlegrounds, it just gets old fast.

i cant also anticipate any patches only dislike them as we mages are the 'NERF" nr 1 class, every patch a bit nerf for mage if not alot. bah! i thought you were supposed to enjoy patches other then hate them

Yep the patches suck. No development. It's PvP or nothing. I'm on a Non PvP server on purpose and would like to see some game development.

Why not do what ever one else does and relive all the joy and fun you had in the beginning and start over from 1st level til you have 4 or 5 alts at 60 too.

Yeah that makes total sense to spend another 50 dollars plus another 15 dollars a month for a game you are not having fun with.

I got a bit bored too, but my gf is lvl 60 and still having a blast. I think some people will be unchallenged even in the PvP aspect. But for some, the game is awesome 100%. I still have my account and log in now and then to say hi to the guild. I'm sure they will come out with some wicked expansions and new content, so if you're bored don't count WoW out yet. It's still relatively new! Lots of time to pump in some excitement, and if anyone can breathe new life its Blizzard, they are almost gods after all imageimage

If your bored then quit for a bit.

I got bored playing my rogue on a PvE server (rogues are amazingly boring to play) and most of my guild wanted to move to PvP so when a few new realms went up we shifted.

Started an UD mage and got to level 28 and grew tired of having to do all the low level crap again even though I was alliance before so was new quests to me.

I quit the game for a month or so and decided to come back for a bit, i'm now enjoying the game again (even though getting from 57 to 60 is a bit of a grind).

So like I said, maybe try to stop playing for a bit then come back to it. But its going to be boring no matter what after a certain amount of time, you'll have all epic gear and will have played he BGs to death etc.

I too have become bored with WoW... even though I don't want to be.

Been playing wow since release and I can't manage being in game more than a few moments before I feel the need to log out and do something else.

Battlegrounds spiced WoW up a bit, for a short time, but now that has become something I do maybe three times a week (although I was doing a BG 4 times a night after patched into the game).

The 3 and 4 hour instance grind feels more like a job now. However, thats just me, and I know others enjoy the demanding guild/group/instance dynamic.

With just more of the same ol same ol instances being added, and raid instances at that, I am bit worried that my days in WoW are numbered.
