     Wait, What....?

I'm guessing he meant DS but wrote it in Diablo without thinking it.

Either that, or he's in the Diablo 3 beta and read "Diablo" instead of "Dungeoun Siege" >.>

I hope he meant to talk about DS3

I believe what he was saying is.... he likes diablo 1 and 2 and decide to play DS 3 in hopes that it was like those games. I don't think he was talking about Diablo 3.

The game was really fun on m7 PS3.  However, NOTHING at all like Dungeon Siege 1 or 2.  Just a completely different type of game....but a good one imo.  I do not know how the PC version is.

It pretty much requires a 360 gamepad because controlling it with K&M is wonky at best. I know I'm a broken record by this point but I'll say again that DS3 is not a bad game, aside from awkward camera and tacked on co-op MP. Most of its hate comes from old veterans who are mad it wasn't Dungeon Siege 1.5 for some reason, as if it wasn't obvious from the trailers that it wouldn't be. I got over it, so can you.

Yes its disapointing if you compare it to any dungeon siege game previously.

but as an adventure in its own right it pretty awesome!

Personally I enjoy the combat, its quite technical with some characters and certainly not easy.  your never stuck doing the same moves and the boss fights are pretty entertaining.

There is a very good feeling of deep imersion, the sound effect,s graphics and the animation on the characters is really good.

Im currently going through it with another character, mainly for the steam acheivments and also to see how the story changes depending on different options you go for.

You can imagine it kinda like an arcady version Dragon Age, not as much depth but far more polish.

It's a shame how much they changed this IP. It's the direction of the industry though, no one (besides Bethesda?) really makes the types of games like DS1 or DS2 anymore. I stayed away from DS3 after I heard SE had their hands in it (SE has produced nothing but garbage for a while now). Oh well... maybe some company will learn after wasting enough money.

Worst $50.00 I ever spent. Doesn't even come close to being anywhere near as good as the prior games. The game is glitchy, buggy and it is poorly optimized.

I will agree with this sentiment.  While I didn't spend 50 dollars on it,  I also didn't finish it... the game was just not very exciting,  and I even played through co-op with one of my buddies... we got tired of it likely a quarter way through, and I traded it in for store credit. (bought the console version.)

I downloaded the XBox demo. I may have gotten 3 minutes into it before I deleted it.

TBH I downloaded it for pc I really was bored as shit. I think it might be more fun only if you have a full team of friends. If not scrap it.

I enjoyed playing through DS 3 with a couple of real life buddies. We had a good time. Of course, this was all done on via the PS3 so no control issues.
