The last thing I'm doing is bragging.....I'm a level 24 Rogue. At first I loved the game, seemed like a challenge.
Well I forgot to see my Rogue trainer until I was level 22, and upgraded all my abilities that were rank one, now I'm way over powered and it's too easy, not much I could do about that. But being a level 24 and doing four dungeons I'm over leveled for my area, thank God I'm skipping many rifts or I would be even higher. Since the game seems to be somewhat on rails ( I'm ok with that ) can I skip a few towns and pick up more quest and be on track ?
I love Rift, it's a well made game but I fear that it would stay too easy, and even playing casual I feel I'll be done too fast.

You don't have to follow all the questlines. There are appropriate areas depending on your level. That being said, nothing about the game is really difficult, just time intensive (aside from leveling).
Funny that you say that. I was in the Air Force for 4 years, and now I Department of Defense working for the Army.
roll the hardest class you can find?
and also most class can do it all ,healing, dps tank.but remember to see how it was in wow
just because a warrior can dps doesnt mean it will be a main dps same for a rogue heal or a chloromancer, yes they can off heal but main heal will still be cleric territory, same for cleric
yes they cant tank and dps but they will be off tank and off dps!
You're playing during double XP week, surpassing the levels for most areas. Thus, it's easier. It ends later today, so...
That makes no difference. It's easy to level up even when xp is normal. I've maxed two characters to 50 in just over a month, without power levelling, just through normal questing. It does look great, classes are fun and use of souls and roles is brilliant but it just ends too soon. I've seen everything and done everything (also maxed out all the crafting skills) and i'm not interested in the pvp and raid mini-games at level 50. So for me max level is the end.
Whatever happened to the days when mmos would last for years? Thesedays they last as much time as a single player game.
Getting to endgame was never hard. Thing i like was that the endgame dungeons and raids were crazy hard. It was actually difficult to run dungeons and raids. However they started making things easier and i left. Only thing keeping me interested was their difficulty, and once masterd, became boring and pointless to do...pvp was a joke so i just decided to leave at that point. Well made game, and will provide a few months of entertainment for super casual players.
All he has to do is go to the trainer, respec his points again and choose his rogue abilities all over. But this time don't train them like he didn't before and he's back to how he was originally.
Most people want to actually see the gear they are wearing and don't want to run naked I don't think.
"TO MICHAEL!"
This post doesn't make any sense. You're complaining that a game made for endgame things like PvP and Raiding, only has PvP and Raiding at endgame. The problem isn't the game - the problem is you. Don't blame the developers because you didn't understand that this game wasn't going to offer you anything if you didn't like either raiding or PvP. Crafting is only useful for either of those things. If you wanted a sandbox, you should've played a sandbox.
