Thinking of downloading.

Been looking at this game for some time and thought about downloading and giving it a go, but every time I download this I get a big trojan alert. I have tried this on my 4 different rigs and always the same is my anti-virus right or is it just showing a false-positive.
Thanks for any hint on it.

Been there too. ^^ Doubt it got a trojan, but I got enough good games and not enough time to play them, so I just canceled the download and thought "better no risk and play something else".
Wonder why they don't fix this.

No issues when i downloaded it Friday for the holiday, boxed version is out also.
If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.
I DL'ed it last week and so far no virus. After playing it I wish i had not DL'ed it though, I only played it for a few minutes though, I'll be giving it another shot today before uninstalling it. I don't like that once the battle began I almost instantly died. And I thought this was an mmo and would be more like WWII Online, but it's more like just another fps game with maps and tank types to choose from.
downloaded it to my laptop moment ago, no virus or anything in it. scanned using Avast and couple of others.. it could be false positive for you or perhaps it got contaminated by something on your end? and did you download it from official site?
Don't rush ahead, stay behind the top tank on your team - the one on the top of the list at the beginning of the match. The best chance is behind PzKpfw 38H735 (f)

Me and a friend have recently downloaded and started playing the game, we are at T4 T5 level. Enjoying it immensly, the game has had me reading up on the history of the tanks, another dimension to the game worth the time investment. The tactics of the battles are enagging and challenging, they are also fast moving. for me i went to the premium level after the first few days to limit my grind, but at 8 quid a month no complaints at all.
You should download this game and give it a try...

I completely agree. They never reward the ongoing players except with stupid forum activites in which they reap the benefits and you get squat. I uninstalled today...the game isn't interesting enough for me anymore. We'll see what happens with WoWP and WoB though.
This game has so few players that they have player concentrators that make the game seem smaller. Then you find out that you are killed by the same 4 guys in 6 differnt areas and they spent worthless dev time making the game cheap sim with stats so that you know is nobody really playing this game it is same 4 peopl.e
Well all I can offer is my opinion of it, I used to play it in beta and after launch, the game makes you want to enjoy it, and is even a bit addictive, however the game itself is rather... perhaps thats not the right word... the game is "very" aggrivating, and I found myself cursing at my monitor screen a great deal, especially when facing neigh industructable higher tier opponents. At first I assumed I was doing something wrong, a bit of forum searching later I find I was actually correct, and that a tank several tiers above you is actually indestructable. (Some of them, the ones with all-around armor are even invulnerable from behind.)
I could honestly make a wall-o-text about how many issues this game has, from cash shop dependency with permium ammo, to the industry's worst match making service of all time. (A bold but accurate statement.) But all you really need to know is that the game just lacks quality and balance, even though the game's concept is fantastic, and makes you wish the game was as good as the premise.
To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.
I don't know what promo code you are talking about, but nothing unusual in promotions for new and/or returning players.

I must agree with this, while I did not enjoy the game, the game does have a MASSIVE playerbase, and it's likely you'll face the same guys over and over again if you start another match with the same tank right after one ends, thats simple logic, as those players will all be trying for a new match at the same time.

True. Try to find more suitable targets or just light the "indestructibles" up for your artillery and TDs. RTFM.
