    You trolls are a joke, I have joked around before and said SWTOR looks crap, but after actually RESEARCHING and finding bucket loads of information, it doesn't look that bad. Sure I won't buy it at launch, but I don't want it to fail and crash and burn just so "yeah I was right, it sucked LOL" - I mean cmon now grow up.

     

    It's the same in any other game, constant wars and flaming and trolling, play what you want to play, IGNORE all these stupid posts and even fanboys who defend their game like its the holy grail of games, ignore them all and look for the information, the sticky usually, and decide for yourself, MAKE A COMPLETELY UNBIASED DECISION.

    SWTOR is a carbon-copy of WoW, it didnt improve anything by leap ( Kudo to GW2 for trying) other then voice-over and better graphics. The Gameplay is Copied from WoW.

     

    Just another WoW Clone. Like Rift Nothing new.

     

    Level up by doing quest jumping from zone to zones. linear like a Single player game. very little social interactions.

     

    End-game Dailies run, repetitive dungeons run for points/token. You do this 7 times per week as fast as possible till your eye bleeds.

     

    Raiding rinse and repeat, boss reset every week.

     

    next 6 months, the gear that you collect is useless.

    ok i kinda agree with grachics on this game but i like it i hope it stays the same and maybe fix it later i mean not every one has super computer maybe they went that route for good reson wow is such huge game and has lots of people in it :D. And wife dont have super labtop so it be disapointing if i have to spend more money on computer when i can just buy the game and pop it in and play it with out having to worry about saying oh man cant play.

    You should really grow up and see most smart people here don't look at the games in way what's taken from the other games but we rather wait for the game to be released and try it our selves and then look for what's new and different!

    If we would look all the games the way you wow-fanboys do every game would be a clone of EQ and games pre-wow... hell, wow took everything good in EQ and turned it into wow...

    I respect that people have their own comments/opinions on what they think the game is but what it all comes down to is if you want to try it and what your take is on the game, I'll never let someone someone's opinions change what I want to do or try. And when I do I may have a totally different feel for the game than what they have experienced...If they even experienced it at all via beta testing, Most people flame games or say this game is like this and haven't even tried it just putting judgment on something from pictures/video's  they see or just general heresay. And no I'm not saying this about the OP, he may have Beta tested and feels that way which is perfectly fine, But as for me yes I plan on buying the game (already pre-ordered) and if it has a WoW feel so be it, I actually have nothing against WoW and thought it was a good game but I prefer the star wars feel and story background over the midieval/fantasy type. So no matter what don't let someone persuade you to not try something due to their opinions, You may regret not giving it a shot. And if you are a bit skeptical on it being the same way and don't like the sound of it but still have wanted to try it then just wait till a free trial comes out, Yeah that may be a while but it's choices you have to make.

     Exactly and Everquest got a lot of old elements from D&D, late 70's.

    WoW is not an orginial game, besides, it's childish with the cartoon like toons similar to GW2 on some races -

    that's why many 'kids' and other none factors subscribed to that particular MMO.

    I've done the MMO community a favor and turned this post into a template for the next several games being released.  Just insert the name of the new/recent MMO's in the blanks and voila! You have yourself a solid WoW clone post :D  You're welcome!

     

    Oh, and here's a fun video I made too to show what game MMO's are truly cloning!

    It has it s simalrities, but the OP didn t play it very much, or did it blind folded and with ear plugs in, if this is how they feel. Thats all I m going to say on this.
