XBOX 360 is going to be a sweet system especially cus Im a xbox freak in the first place

Wireless is gonna be sweet so now I don't have to get out of my chair thats like 3 ft. from the xbox to turn it on!!!? The LED lights on the controller are gonna be a good indicator for health, letting you know when you have mail, and what person your playing on local play. The games and the graphix are gonna put people in the game along with the sound and gameplay.

I thought I would just kick off the 360 buzz with a thread so have fun, debate info, share info, and learn or jus chat.

Sorry, but playstation 3 will absolutely kill 360
look at the hardware, playstation 3 is better and has better launch titles lined up already.

but there is a downside to all these new great consoles the $$$ How much do you think the PS3, XBOX360, and the Nintendo Revolution will cost? My guess 300-500 starting price.

I agree, Condemned looks pretty awesome. As does ES IV: Oblivion (that one will probably pull me away from MMOs for a while lol).
Me too lol I have Coleco telstar (ahh Pong!), Ti 99/4a, Atari 2600, Colecovision, Atari Jaguar, 3d0, PS1+2, Xbox, NES and SNES (I have every game ever made for the SNES in NA, JP and EU on PC)
I'll be getting Xbox 360 for sure and FFXI cuz I love all things Final Fantasy and the PS3 will be a must buy too as it will be ummm Earthshakingly powerful! Unless it costs more than 500 bucks american, and even then maybe I will

Wow, you do have a few, don't you? I don't have the first two you mentioned, but in addition to what you listed, I've got all of Sega's systems (from Master System to Dreamcast), and at one point I had a Famicom (sold it in a fit of stupidity).
I don't know about you, but the thing that sucks about being into both console gaming AND Pc gaming is having to split the fundage between the two
. My PC is probably going to suffer upgrade-wise this year, as the Xbox 3d60 will probably be this year's heavy-hitter to my wallet 
actually the PS3 does not have better hardware. the xbox has a set of 3 chips designed specificly to handle hte engines used in the new xbox 360 games which will greatly increase performance. Sony just stuck in some gfx card and solderd it in. and i am correct so dont try to get all fanboy on me or any crap because i have valid resources and you dont.

and who cares xbox has one tittle that even gets me and thats forensa racing (sp) also consoles dont get me that excited all i care is if its easy to use and decent games

Oh well still gonna side with bobbler. 360 will own ALL!!! If by some miracle and cus of the release date PS3 is better then Il give it up but Im still reppin the X
Music is gonna be the best feature and no nickel and diming for the content and if they do then PS will be worse. Their online is behind and they wont pick it up with just this system, they are gonna need at least the next system after PS3 ?~PS4~? to catch up to xbox's online.

Reason why Xbox kicked the PS2's ass in certain things was the difference in power!
Why play Madden on PS2 when I can get better graphics on Xbox?
But Xbox still lacked all the great japanese adventure and RPG games!
If the PS3 can offer better or equal graphics to the Xbox 360, but has all the japanese RPGs and adventure games... forget it, Xbox 360 is SO DEAD!

Who cares, the ONLY good game coming out for 360 is TES: Oblivion, and any fool already knows it will be better on PC anyways. Halo is a mediocre, at best, shooter when compared to UT2K4, BF2, CSS and HL2.
Most of Xbox's decent games come to PC anyways. Most of PS's decent/good games are usually console only. I buy consoles to get exclusive games, not ones I can get on a PC
Gunblade hit the nail on the head in regards to the hardware comparison of the two systems. For those of you who "have contacts" and anyone else interested, I suggest reading this article as well as any of the referenced links on the first page of that article if you want a thorough understanding of the two competing technologies.
The one thing people who are comparing the technologies are failing to realize is the difference in the projected release dates for both the 360 and the PS3. That doesn't even take into account if either console misses their projected release date. What it's going to come down to is that people will really need to look at what the PS3 promises and what the 360 offers at the time the 360 is released and decide which system suits their needs the best, and if it's the PS3, can they afford to wait for that to come out.
Both companies have stated their expanding their target market from gamers to be the family entertainment center for the home of the future. So it's really going to come down to the feature set each system will be offering.
if only there were mmorpgs on game consoles.
