TERA: Centaurs Revealed

The TERA Online site has been updated with new screens and information about the game's centaurs. The fey forest dwellers are four-footed warriors proficient with spears and a deadly hoof attack. The protectors of nature are currently allied with those in an uprising against loggers.
Centaurs attack with spears and hooves, with the hoof attack being the more powerful of the two. If attacked from range, they will close the distance between them and their foe, at which time they’re vulnerable to attack without the ability to retaliate until they get within three meters.
The centaur will rear up slightly just before performing either attack, but as very little time elapses between the two, the wise fighter will always work to stay out of hoof and spear range, and take advantage of the centaur's occasional retreat for help to attack them from behind.

Never understand why we need content articles based on what mobs are in the game. Its not like they play that big of a role. They stand around to get killed by players, not something worth writing about.
True...seems like they're stretching to get some content on the site IMO
Well I kind of agree if you're gonna release some information about mobs I would be more interesting if it was a huge group but at he same time these centaurs look cool. Beats the rats, bees, and crabs in a lot of games.
content-less, will be another game with no death penalty, level top out in 2 weaks, well they did put lots of info on Mobs you see and kill for 2 lvls.
It'd be great if a game like this one came along with the same kinds of depth as Eve. Though to be fair, I probably put more time into Monster Hunter than I have any MMO.

Not that I would play a Centaur but why in the world can’t these games have "non-standard" PCs? I mean seriously, I am pretty tired of playing humans with different heights and longer ears...

The centaur was a playable race in Shadowbane.... But alas... Those days are long gone.
If Centaur were a playable race in TERA, would you be your own mount? Personally, I like being the odd races that others usually shy away from.
They are not only talking about the monster, but how you would try and kill it as well. It sounds like you would fight different monsters in different ways, which to me is pretty cool.
I agree, didn't see the worth-while purpose of this whole article.
I think if you cant figure out how to kill a mob after fighting it a couple times (bosses included) then you should not play the game, these are things that gamers look forward to finding out once they start playing. I don't speak for all gamers though but still.....
Pictures gave me Shadowbane flash backs too. My poor Centaur druid. RIP.
There are others that just likes to read extra content for the purpose of just knowing...It doesn't have to be anything that would give you the edge on how to play or how to go about doing things in the game. Some pple just like to read, especially of a game that they are waiting for. Period, not much to understand why pple like this and not that or vise visa.
And until a 3D fantasy MMO includes centaurs/dryads/naga, they don't have me.
/gave up on WoW because of this.
