New Chronicle/ Sanctum: Ceremony of Attunement

So after a new 461mb download we get

 

Edit: So this is the first build of this new chronicle on the pts, so the sounds are a little off. Basically the idea is you are being honored for being a badass and then all hell breaks loss.



This was new to me so I got kind of lost.

I am going to update as I find new stuff. There will be a video up shortly, but I need to run it first. This one is a solo player instance

 

ok so after all hell breaks loss and you get to the end guy you have to fight this dude. This guys name is Shadvarian and he is a DA BOSS

    I absolutely love the idea of solo/duo dungeons etc., but i've read that to solo them it takes a gear level beyond the stuff that drops in said dungeons. But since the days i've played for gear are ages behind me, i wouldn't mind. But reading people's postings about the chronicles are way too short (about 15min or something) got me a bit concerned.

    I upgraded a gf's pc this evening in order to jump into Rift together once 1.5 gets live (game is running better on her's than on mine now...grrrrr). So it's a bit of a letdown already to read various negative comments on the core of this patch. Wouldn't be the first time Trion drops the ball on what seems to be a great addition for the game. I hope they pull it off.

    It was made for fresh 50's in blues. They even very clearly said that in the advertisement. Two fresh people going in and getting some loot to help them gear up.

     

    The rest of us who are geared run for the vanity items, artifact sets, experience towards planar attunement. Nowhere have they said this is replacing getting into a 5 man to get the top end stuff.

     

    This is the casual stuff. Master mode instances that are 5 man is the casual/raider stuff to get top end gear without doing 20man content.
