General: Talk Like a Pirate Day Events

Both the Lord of the Rings Online team and the World of Warcraft team have posted information about ways to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day while in game.
In Lord of the Rings Online, players are charged with recovering lost cargo along the Brandywine. Players will receive piratey rewards from quest givers and might even score a treasure chest or two during the search.
In World of Warcraft, Dread Captain DeMeza will be bringing ships and corsairs into Booty Bay to wreak havoc on the denizens of the area. Folks can earn some piratey gear for participating.

Guild wars has had the pirate options as a language pack for the entire game for a while now.
Well, yesterday here in Berlin the newly created "Pirate Party" (Piraten Partei) was first time elected with a jumpstart of 9%! Yeah, top that!

Yes, but when you drink the speical grog that is dropping for this event it will cause you to talk like a pirate. Its the only alchol in the game that will make you talk like a pirate (without you controlling it).
i know, i was simply stating this for those who don't know
