WoW Rumor

Couple months ago when I was hardcore in WoW.  I heard the rumor that no one has ever attained a mount of another race.  Some said it was impossible but, I argued that with Humans they have Diplomacy which boosts fame a little bit.  Just wondering if anyone has ever done it I tryed and could only make it to the tail end of honorable in Darnassuss.

    On G4, they showed a gnome who had gotten both a horse and a cat to ride on by doing repeatable faction quests. I do believe it is on the clip that was recently in the "News" on the official WoW site.

    Yes it is possible, I've seen a UD on a Kudo beast, a NE on a horse, a UD on a Raptor...and so on and so forth, so yea it is possible but it TAKES ALOT OF TIME!!!! so if you want to do so then you need to have alot of time and patience.

    when the game first came out only the humans could get a different races mount.  There weren't enough faction quests to get your reputation up enough.  They have added more faction quests since then and now you can get any racial mount for your faction.  You just have to get alot of quests from the other races.

    I have a NE and I really dont like how the Sabers look and act, I really like the Horses can someone tell me what quests I should get and from so I can start getting my rep up high with humans, and If anyone has any pics please send a Link I would really like to see a NE on a horse, Thanks:)

    Thre are a few mounts that are only available to few races. Like the mechanostrider(gnome mount) can only be ridin by dwarfs or gnomes no other race can have them.

    Its definitely possible.
    And, am I right in saying that the Battleground quests (which are repeatable, no?) give faction bonus?

    You still can, it's not a rumor!  You just gotta keep donating Runecloth to an NPC of the desired faction to slowly raise your faction until your Exaulted.

    So start saving, you need like 5000 stacks of Runecloth or more! 1 stack is 10!  So that's 50,000 RUNECLOTH!

    Waste of time... I'd rather sell that Runecloth and buy an Epic mount.
