can't play

in City of Heroes

whenever i try to start up COH it gets to the updater then crashes. this has been happening for a few days now and it's getting really frustrating because i want to play. can anyone help?

    I was having the same problem with Verizon DSL. If you are running on Verizon DSL this may be your problem:

    To prevent hackers Verizon has changed their service where every few minutes your ISP address will change. The COH Updater is not fast enough to catch the change, so you will either be unable to connect or disconnect. I called Verizon and they gave me the option of returning to the old serveice that would keep my ISP address the same, since I have done that no problems at all.

    Hope that helps or gives you a place to start.
