I was a hugh FFXI fan and I pre-ordered XIV. Take my word do not waste your time this game is easily one of the worst mmos ever made which is why they do not offer a free trial they want to hook you. It rates up there with the matrix online and tabula rasa. Mabey not quit as bad as the matrix but for sure on lvl with tabula rasa.
Well, currently if you buy the game you get to play it for free - since they havn't started charging subscriptions for it yet.
If you can find someone who bought the CE, they might still have a buddy pass for you. Though interestingly a buddy pass in this game is a full retail client, so if you like the game you'll be good to go until they start charging.
Obviously this guy has never played Matrix online, or Tabula Rasa. I can understand why matrix had a hard time, but Tabula rasa was a great game. I would rather spend countless hours playing either of these games then half the F2P crap thats out right now. They are improving on FFXIV. Be your own person. If u are intrested in checking it out then do so. Just cause one tard hates the game doesnt mean u will. FFXIV has a new team running the show. Alot of the crap that F'ed the game up has been taken out. I dont play it, but I am also intrested in checking it out because I also am a Final Fantasy Fanatic.
Interesting to know. I'd take a pass if someone had one laying around. I never played FF11 and never been into FF games other than Tactics. But wondered how this looks now that it has had time for improvements.
PS I actually really really liked Tabula Rasa and wish it had held on and taken off
That game had a ton of potential imho
