Star Supremacy: Closed Beta Ramping Up

The Star Supremacy closed beta is in full swing and developers are looking for more pilots to enter into the fray.

According to the press release, the Star Supremacy site has several links to places where players can pick up a closed beta key.

  • Engage in massive battles across the three star systems currently open.
  • Network your colonies together to build the ultimate military economy.
  • Develop your own unique technologies that will put you in the forefront of development.
  • Design the 'perfect build' and put your fleets to the test against the other alliances.
  • Engage with our strong community and even get your ideas into the game.

    Think Travian in space, with combat you can participate in. Battlestar galactica it ain't, it is a fairly deep strategy game.

    Seems one more browser game on similar to Batheo engine.....

    Very heavy on donate, highly not recommended

    I really don't understand what you mean by 'very heavy on donate'... if you mean it relies heavily on microtransactions, yes there is an item shop, no it is not dependant on it at all to progress. It is closed beta, you cannot even pay for item shop credits at the moment. Derp.

    By "heavy on MTs" he means you can buy very significant upgrades that give you edge over nonpaying customers. Like 20% stronger ships, 20% more production, 50% growth rate, random high level items.... basically pay to win, not free to play

    People pay money for this crap. I am no Graphics wh*re but come on. I have seen flash games presented better then this.

    Perhaps they should invest in a 3rd dimension for their game.
