I cant download the patch, is the server still down, it has been down for like 15 hours now !
Anyone know whats going on please ?

If you read the little note I think they upped the downtime by 3 hours. You can dl the patch via bittorrent which I did a few hours ago and I have it installed already.

Sorry did I sound mean?(I can't tell sarcasm from not-sarcasm anymore :P) You can get the Azureus or Yet Another Bittorrent Client if you have a router though you might have to forward some ports. Other than BT I don't think you can get the patch yet.

NP here I'm at work and if the server is down all day then that means a free day from the devs
The bit torrent wasn't working for me earlier. They said there was a problem with it, and they uploaded another bit torrent file. This one does not work either. I'm currently downloading it from the HTTP link, as it is my only other recourse, which is proving *very* slow. Given the option I would have bittorrented it and had it downloaded in under 10 minutes. Instead I've had to resort to using getright and segmenting the file into four peices just to get it downloading a little faster than .1 kb/sec. Yes, .1.
Might you be able to load another torrent link somewhere on the web to start a torrent that actually works? The server should theoretically be up and running in approximately 15 minutes. I'd like to be able to play sometime in the next five hours.
Does the bittorrent link still work for you by the by?

Well I'm still uploading, I think the problem is that there 3 times as many peers as seeders, just gotta wait for awhile to start connecting to people.
EDIT: I've been seeding for a few hours now.

You're the man. Thanks for the link! Server should be back up about the time I get this file down.
Server isn't up last I checked. The HTTP download was AWOL 404. The Bit Torrent has yet to make a single connection.
No biggie though. I can wait.

btw why they took down forums?

Yes the forums are run on the same shard. When the game goes down the forums go down.
The way to look at a big EVE patch is this. It's 1 sometimes 2 days gone. This is usually the result of either a bad patch, bugs or general lag as the server deals with all the debug software running.
Best thing would be just to try tomorrow really.

Well been trying for like 5 hrs do dl the bloody patch... Its a shame such a wonderful game doesnt even has a patch server working as a 21st century one should.

Well i took a look on it for few mins but i`m goin to give it time to tomorrow evening coz i`m tired as hell
yo btw theres some issue with market coz i couldnt browse it and whats real pain in the ass, now you cant undock with offline mods which if turned on uses more resources as your ship can handle...personally i found this stupid...but thats all of my little rant, dont take me wrong its good patch even if they nerfed some things
