Wolfszeit disbanded
Founded in early Beta of Mortal Online, Wolfszeit has been a small but active German PvP guild with the plan to play as independent mercenary guild. After losing both guild leaders in January and March 2010, I became leader of the guild. During Open Beta we grew up and started with 25-30 active players at the day of release.
The Wolfszeit PvP core has been very well known to the server at these days more than one year ago. The fights culminated into the first war on the server after release, the so called Forsaken-Wolfszeit-War with the first two house sieges (our house, then the Forsaken guild house as revenge). Some weeks later Acolytes (today Sinturions), Ghost Division, Valhalla and Wolfszeit created the Chaos Alliance, build the keep north-west of Cave Camp and became a small and unpredictable factor between all the large alliances.
Later last year the whole server population went down to a critical minimum, and so did the number of active players in Wolfszeit. It has been a hard time to stay alive with 5-8 players for a couple of month. The new trial accounts increased the membership slightly, but most new players left the game at least after the first month. With Dawn our guild increased again and had a peak in August with 15-20 active players at the same time in the alliance Mumble. This year Wolfszeit became the most important guild for new German players. But the large number of new players created problems to return the focus to PvP. The core of first generation Wolfszeit players decreased to three until today.
My hope to find some good new co-leaders has been without success during the last half a year. They either left the game some weeks after becoming co-leader, or they had been too good and too fast for me and created their own guild (FIST). Having not enough time to fulfill the role as guild leader next to job and family, I have to disband the guild Wolfszeit! Our new players should get the chance to find their own way in Mortal Online without being thrown into all the old political relationships.
I want to thank all the old Wolfszeit members for the great time, especially the guild founders Napalm and Gorv, my old co-leaders Corovus, Demon and Malbynator, and the last guys from closed beta times, Nero and Toni. More thanks to the Chaos alliance leaders (Mycke, Kwagher, Recsu, even Princereaper with the lost keep deed drama) and lots of other players. For me its time to go away from the guild leadership and even from any official position in a guild, but I will stay in the game and maybe in the new post-WZ guild.
WZ will be disbanded tonight, all guild members will be kicked. The guild stone and all assets will be transferred to the leader of a new guild or to the Chaos alliance. Please wait for more announcements.
Sorry to Mycke and the VAL guys to get the news on this way, but I could not reach you this afternoon. I will stay in Mumble and talk to you tomorrow, because I'm away in RL this evening.

lol, this game had politics? and guilds? i thought people quit before chopping their first tree.
I am tired of the lies. SV is a great company with a stellar game that works as intended.
The reason many vet guilds are quitting is because the population is way too high and growing every day. These Vet guilds are all carebears who are not hardcore enough for this game. This huge and steady influx of players and the quick development of this game is what is making these guilds leave.
The guilds are mad that all the bugs and exploits keep getting fixed faster than they are discovered.
Enough lies.
Thanks, I needed that laugh.
didnt they just disbanned they didnt actually quit or anything, just went their seperate ways.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
It does say he lost members due to low pop and not enough people in the guild. The 8 left are either quitting or going their seperate ways.
What is your relationship with SV? Do you get any compensation for promoting their game?

LOL- Seriously? Please read my posting history and you will see that clearly this was a remark of pure sarcasm.
