a lot better my friend  and every day its gonna be better the game is in revamp and they trying to fix it with THE PLAYERS OPINION IN EVERYTHING  , so the changed a  lot of things no enough content yet but has a lot more than when was released .

i think that after the 1.19 you can say that the game could be released in that state.

dont forget that its not Quest based lvl up  game , more camp sp (xp) based with your fellows like ffxi :)

ofcourse you can do some quest from npc and get some sp (xp)

they didnt place yet enough content becouse they are trying to fix first some core basics on the classes and battle system :)

right know has  2 dugeons instances  and 128 quest i think ...i m not sure i start it again 2 weeks ago ^^ i m the person that wants to play this game so i m checking and test every two or 3 months the game ^^

have a nice day and dont forget that the game is free for now so you can come and try it ..if you dont like it find to play another game , and just check every 2 months whats the new team brings here at ffxiv :)

ofcourse alla that  if you are a gamer and you dont care about the reviews from others and you want to have your personan expirience ^^

have a nice day my friend

dont buy it or even play it the company that SE employs to run their games GM's r the worst and they ban people for no reason with no answer to why they banned u. They are not customer friendly and they dont care obviously by resleasing this junk in the first place taking a year and its still junk DO NOT BUY or PLAY this stupid game.

and spent your time to another game until is ready for you :) havce a nice day :)

Yea.  You could be right on that one.  It could not Possibly be the game.  That pesky release date and the fifty bucks for the game were just silly suggestions.   They were not ACTUALLY Square Enix saying the game was ready to play.  They were just saying "OH  Go ahead and gives us fifty bucks and sigh up for your monthly.   Its no biggy we are just testing your resolve as you play our alpha." (Because even calling it a Beta at release might be aiming high).  They also didn't revoke the monthly fees after the sudden backlash of negative reviews either.  This was beta so it was understood the game was free.  They didn't have to post repeatedly that the player base would not be charged.  Nor did they actually replace the Lead Director because he released such hidiously incomplete game under the guise of it being ready to play.   He was just keeping the seat warm for Yoshi P.

Silly me.  Your right I should have known better.  I should have used my psychic powers to know for a fact that FFXIV was Square Enix's way of Saying, "JUST KIDDING!" LOL.  Really?  Granted.  Next time Square Enix releases a game?  I will know better. I will know exactly where not to spend my money.   And you have yourself a nice day too there and good luck with your game. ^ ^

but my friend i was answer you about the time that you spent there for a year i didnt sat enywhere that SE doesnt mistakes ...from the begining ..i just said that if you was ok to stay there from  the realease day and for a year then why are you still criticize the realesa state of the game ..

.did i say that the game doesnt suck at the realease date ?

    no i didnt

i say that i bought a game that i m gonna play when it will be ready because the make it suck but they are trying to fix it for me and for my money >

    yes i said that

i said only that if you care abought your money then right now you dont have another option only to wait and see if you will cry at the end about the money that you gave a year ago for to playing ffxiv

But  when everyone knows that  they  revamp it ...it was your fault...

3 months after the realese everyone know that the game it was in revamp mode and  that it was a slowly progress ...

for me i left the game for the Rift and  i came back to the game at 1.19 and i m verry happy with the progress until now

the game is more chalenging and now everyone complaint about that cant kill easy something at lvl 1 or     lvl 1 vs lvl 2 lol ...its alot difrent game :) keep going SE give us what you have must do 1 year ago .

you have a game that Sucked you ''stole'' my money so i m here and wait to give me what i pay...

so if just come here and say no the game sucks i m never gona play again ...doesnt change anything  , i m just asking to fix it  and you also my friend ...if you dont like the SE as a company anymore ...well the your avatar ....lol i m waiting like you mr the ffxiii versus ^^ more money for SE :) have a nise day and sorry for my english :_)

just so everyone knows se has made a post and looks like they plan to start charging for this game late dec/early november of this year. this will no longer be a game in which you can freely check in periodically and see if the condition has improved. i will give an update if any clarification comes out.

The problem is that an MMO company really only has one shot at making a good first impression...and SE really just blew it early this year.

Ok, so now we get letters and announcements from the FFXIV team talking about all of the wonderful revamp goodies that are coming but by the time this game gets to where it needs to be...people will have moved on (except for the fanbois).

Let's say by next July? Great, so by the time this game gets to where it should have been earlier this year...people will have their new gaming homes on Star Wars, Guild Wars 2, and even Tera, and probably a slew of others coming down the pike. I mean, when are stupid MMO companies going to get it? IT NEEDS TO BE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

SE dropped the ball, and a lot of us could care less about their developmental and company excuses, "We appologize for this" and "We appologize for that," but it really doesn't matter. Like I said, except the FF fanbois and the truly bored amongst the MMO arena...these are the people who will be playing after the five billion years it takes for SE to pull the stick out of their asses and make this game what it SHOULD HAVE BEEN in early 2011. A few words to live by: Do it right the first time...so there's not a second time.

And to think this was the company that made the masterpiece Final Fantasy VII.

    I miss Squaresoft. Fuck Square-Enix.

EDIT: For those who think I'm wrong, just remember Star Trek Online...and read the history.

SE forces thier players to use ClickandScam because they are too cheap to pay a small transaction fee for electronic payments, either that or you have to by prepaid Crysta(prepaid currency or whatever you wanna call it).
