If you should unsubscribe from a game...

    I'd like to agree, but amend.

     

    If you are leaving a game don't post about it in the forums if you only want to whine about how much you hate the game. It's pretty pointless. Kinda like letting the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

    If you are leaving because something has caused you to have to move on but you want to say goodbye to the community and friends you have there....feel free to post.

     Agreed you shouldnt start a post saying "tHis Gamez Sux0rs". But if someone is asking if the game is any good, then its perfectly acceptable to have people who left a game to give "legitimate" reasons why they do or dont care for the game. Not mindless bashing or mindless sucking up. Both extremes does the game community a disservice.

    I agree that people should give their honest ( hopefully somewhat unbiased ) opinions. I think what we are talking about is the typical "You all suck! This game blows!" rant in the actual game forums itself. Not somewhere you'd generally find people who had "left" a game giving reviews. The people who spam the game forum itself about their leaving are either in it for attention or have some mental illness not yet named :P

    I agree. What does a post like "This game sucks. Don't play!" do to stop people from playing? Nothing. It's pointless. Now, throw in a reasonable explanation of why you don't like the game and I'm more inclined to read your post and possibly not play the game. If your goal is to get people to leave the game, then give a reason other than "It SuX0rs!"
