Star Wars' most powerful creature vs. Star Trek's most powerful creature

reb007reb007 Member UncommonPosts: 613

Who or what is the most powerful creature from each IP? And which one would win in a fight?

Star Trek has the Q. The Q are nearly omnipotent. Is there a creature or entity from Star Wars that could compete with the Q?

TLDR:

This isn't about which IP is cooler or has more fans. This is a battle between Star Trek's most powerful entity and Star War's most powerful entity.

For Star Trek I was thinking the Q, I'm not sure what Star Wars would have to compete with that though.

True, mischievous and irresponsible child-gods always take first place.  Star Wars can't offer up much of anything that isn't man-made to compete with Trek.

Well, Star Wars has the force. A friend of mine used to argue that the Star Wars universe - and everything in it - is made up by the force. If the Q and the force exist in the same universe, then that would mean the Q are subject to the force. I think we ended up agreeing to disagree at that point.

Another discussion we had was Jedi being assimilated by the Borg, how cool would that be?

What's the extent of the full power of a blue glowie?

There are no godlike beings in the Star Wars universe. The force is quite powerful, but not only does it have its limits, but the power of the Q can achieve everything (and more) that it can with no effort or time expended.

It's like you are asking for a fighting comparison between Superman and Batman (with no available kryptonite) As powerful and disciplined as Batman is in his own element, there's no way in hell he can win.

Which, counterintuitively, means that Star Wars wins this particular comparison. Truly all powerful characters are quite frankly nothing more than bad writing, there's no justification for them

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

Unless you understand what the Q are - they are highly evolved beings who were once like humans.

Picard backed Q in a corner to the point where he nearly admitted the Q were fearful of humans as their evolution may far surpass the Q.

Marka Ragnos was probably the most powerful in the Star Wars Universe.

Unfair, there is no powerful creature in Star War.. Its all about the FORCE.. While in Star Trek most of them have abilities.. For sure Star Trek WINS this thread :(

If that were the case, then JAden Korr could not have defeated his spirit.

Just because someone beats someone else doesn't make them more powerful.  Take Luke and Vader for example, Luke defeats Vader but i'll still argue that Darth Vader is still more powerful than Luke Skywalker who in my opinion just got lucky.

It's one thing to adapt to frequency changes in particle weapons, it's another to adapt to a base the size of a moon which can destroy planets.

With that said, all the borg would need to do is crash one sphere onto the Death Star and begin assimilating the crew. Imagine a Borg Death Star. The Federation would be screwed.

And, to add, a Borg Vader (or Emperor).
