Went to the MapleStory website today, and it looks...interesting. Will it be Pay-to-Play after the beta I wonder?

    From what ive seen a read and hear it a free game in asia and they plan to make it free all over if they can.But in asia they have a certain thing called the cash shop where you can buy upgrades like beards and special items with cash if you wanted to go that route its not open here though.

    Yes indeed Maple is quite an interesting game, and yea it should remain free image

    It's going to try to stay afloat using the cash shop here as well. Right now they are working on getting the basic things up and running before they try to add in features.

    SOE makes decent games that appeal to nerds. Their customer service is run by jocks who bully nerds. Wonder why SOE sucks so bad...

    LOL, I agree! It all makes sense now...

    But first I heard of this game, and totally going to give it a shot. I'd like to know why it's "interesting" really. ::::17::

    its its p2p then no one would play it because it would be worse then anyother p2p game in my opinion, and for that matter a lot of non p2p

    There are so many thing that the open beta don't have. Pet, the item to change hair style v. v... so if after the open beta we have to pay. I'm going to pay.
