Alright, first off....
- Don't care if it's free or you have to pay for it (BUT if you have to pay for it, I would at least like them to have a trial.)
- MMORPG (Obviously)
- Something not all asianed/koreaned out. (You know what I mean. Talisman, RustyHearts, Grand Chase)
- 3D Fantasy preferrably
- Decent graphics
- Has some sort of guild system
- Is similar to Guild Wars/Warcraft with it's dungeon/raid setups.
I'm just looking for something to kill time until Guild Wars 2 comes out.
Any information regarding GW2 is much appreciated as well.
Thanks and sorry for being so picky!

do what i do..... play RIFT till GW2 comes out
Yeah I guess Rift might be for you. It's not expensive anymore, got accepable graphics and stuff, guilds and whatever, and if you don't play it for long, then the total lack of replayability won't hurt you.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
Played rift on release and the overall concept was great!
BUT.... Just way too repitive for me.
I dont have a suggestion really.. But me and a friend , while waiting for ToR, have been on a mission playing the most horrible and fail MMOS ever just for laughs..
I had alot of fun playing the EQ1 trial , but couldnt bring myself to resub.. its not the same game.
I think you can still get the latest humble indie bundle, lots of gaming goodness there..
Good luck on your search, I cant get hooked on any of the mmos out now.
I've been developing a concept for my own MMORPG for about 5 years, maybe I'm just too stuck in my own head. xD
Welcome to the forums Shatner. Try Age of Conan or maybe Lotro. Both F2P and will kill time. If you've already tried these then there isn't much else for you. Start signing up for betas and see if one pops.
i dont know is there any mmo game i am not signed for beta....
EQ2, LoTRO, AoC and Rift would all be a good fit for you. I've played all 4 extensively, but since you've already done Rift, i'll tell you about the other 3.
All 3 games are good and have my things in common. Here are the minor differences, so you can pick what's more important to you.
Don't misread. All 3 games have great PvE, are solo friendly, relatively quick leveling, fantasy setting. However, out of the 3...
Best solo gameplay, best realized world, best story - LoTRO
Best group gameplay, most content, best PvE endgame / raiding - EQ2
Best PvP elements, coolest combat graphics, violence and gore - AoC
If you play LoTRO - play F2P. It's a great model, if you plan to play for a few months, sub for a month, then go back to F2P (premium)
If you play EQ2, do NOT play F2P. Or use F2P to check it out but then sub and play on live. EQ2x (EQ2 F2P) is horrid.
If you play AoC .. well, i don't really know much about their F2P. Do the trial first anyway.

Tried: AO,EQ,EQ2,DAoC,SWG,AA,SB,HZ,CoX,PS,GA,TR,IV,GnH,EVE, PP,DnL,WAR,MxO,SWG,FE,VG,AoC,DDO,LoTRO,Rift,TOR,Aion,Tera,TSW,GW2,DCUO,CO,STO
Favourites: AO,SWG,EVE,TR,LoTRO,TSW,EQ2, Firefall
Currently Playing: ESO
Closest thing to GW (which isn't that close) is DDO.
Close to Wow: LOTRO, Rift, AoC, EQ2 and Vanguard.
All fine games worth trying. Rift and VG are P2P with a free trialm, the rest are F2P.
don't even bother playing an mmo if you want my opinion. The new call of duty comes out in November, there is league of legends, and a bunch more games coming.
I say this because if you take all that time off of mmo's, when you start the new one you are looking forward to it will be that much better.
Do try City of Heroes ...did it to and having a blast
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Phew, the new Heroes of might and magic comes out this week. Much better than another COD.
Also Skyrim is comming soon.
But if OP want a MMO we should suggest them to him, not solo games.
