Is money important for end game ?

Were playing as a Duo and were close to End Game.
We are harvesting and selling on the Auction as best we could. But if your harvesting on Rift you better bring a fast shovel because of the amount need to harvest to make anything.
I know Level 50 mounts are expensive, but other than that is money important ?

There is plenty of things to spend money on outside of the auction house. The 5th role cost 100 plat, the last bank slot cost around 50 plat, the second to last wardrobe slot is 50 plat, wouldn't be surprised if the last one is 100 plat. Although these things are not needed. If you plan on crafting any of the epic gear, the 20 hour cooldown mats cost 8 platinum each to make and each piece of gear could end up costing up to 100 plat easily. Other things to blow your money on easily are artifacts, runes, and augments.
There are multiple spots in Stillmoor where you can farm 35 plat an hour just killing mobs and selling the trash to vendors.
Of course $$ is important. Your playing an end-game focused MMO. If you hope to be competitive in pvp $$ and time rules all. If your more the casual type it won't matter so much.
