How is the end game?

in Rift

I was a long time eq player and played on higher end raiding guilds.  I am trying the Rift trial and am really enjoying the game.  How is the end game for raiding or anything else?  I am on a pvp server.  Do they have any Realm vs Realm stuff?  I would really like to find something where there is a changing world.  Last thing I tried was Warhammer and that really didn't do it for me.  Thanks in advance.

    The endgame is pretty much you expect with this kind of themepark MMO. Lots of daillies to grind, 5-man dungeons, Instanced PvP and 20-man raids. If you're coming for the PvP then don't bother because there's no meaningful Open World PvP and Rift is rife with balance issues and Flavour of the Month specs. This month is all about the Rogue... this spec in particular.

     

    But if you want to try Rift for the endgame raiding then you'll at least be pleased with the direction Rift is heading. They made it so easy for a non-raider like myself to get into raiding. Once you reach 50 and have the gear, you can easily just go and do some Daily Raid Rifts, which are just Open World Raids that people can mess with if you're on a PvP server. Also if you're in a guild you can do Instanced raids. They are hard and there's already 3 of them, as Trion release 2 more not so long after launching this year.

     

    So yeah, Rift is a game for the endgame Raider, not the PvP'er.

    Pvp is currently a grind to rank 8 at levvel 50, you can do pvp dailies, warfronts and pvp rifts for that. Pve is broken down like so:

    Tier 1 dungeons x 5

    Tier 2 dungeons x 5

    3 chronicles to solo or duo

    5 man expert rifts

    and Raid rifts

    Tier 1 Raids

    Drowned hall(10man)

    Gilded Prophecy(10 man)

    Greenscales Blight

    River of Souls

     

    Tier 2 raids

    Hammerknell ( 11 boss very tough and fun zone)

     

    New tier 2 10 man coming with 1.6

    Its seems they are patching in a lot of endgame content at  a good pace.

    Really? This game sucks and Im not having fun? Im going to unsub right now. Thanks for the tip.
