Grahpics will get a lot better as the game slides toward release, they won't add the fluff till everything else is fine and dandy image

firstly they are from england and have no need to go to E3,

secondly 80% of mmorpgs are never at E3, you only ever really see the big time ones by big time companies.

and you should NEVER ever think that RV's graphics will be some sort of uber Eq2 style graphics. That will simply be impossible when they want to have 2000+ players and npcs hacking eachother at once

Yeah, they don't even have the dynamic skys setup yet.

They've already stated that they will make the characters better. Then there's the fact that they don't have the foliage, bushes, etc turned on yet (but they ARE implemented). If that's not enough, they are only using 2 characters right now, which turn out to be the default Auxillary characters.

I wouldnt mind seeing good graphics for the characters, but folliage and the other little things I don't really care about. My computer can handle Lineage 2 alright but for seiges I generally put the graphics on low detail. Give me some good pvp, and some fun support jobs and Ill be happy ;)

I am hoping they at least improve the character models a bit.  I can deal with less than par graphics if the game play is good.

I'd rather have a stable graphics engine than a pretty graphics engine imo. Having EQ2 or WoW graphics is all find and good, but neither of those games has dynamic asset destruction and massive 500+ vs. 500+ npc/pc encounters.

Sacrifice some graphics quality in aid of getting hellishly indepth gameplay, interactive world etc etc, or really pretty gfx with static mobs and kill x quests...?

    Well that's a no brainer..

Crafting will be the wootshiz in this game. I could care less about graphics, however goodish graphics are a plus ::::28::
