Consol MMORPGS

Okay, obviously when it comes to MMORPGs, the only REAL place to play is on the PC. I mean, the PS2 version of Everquest wad donky-crap, and then there was Final Fantasy XI for the PS2, which wasn't that bad, and then canceled Live Fantasy Life Online (Which was cancelled, then brough back, then cancelled, then bought by a new developer, and is schdueled for next year release ::::29::).

Basically, the only worth-while Consol MMO has to be the "Phantasy Star" series, and every one should buy "Phantasy Star Universe" when it comes out next year. Seriously. If you don't, I'll make you play The Sims Online!

So, is there any hope for the Consol MMORPG? Or is it just going to dwindle and die?

    They're coming out with some MMO's for the Xbox 360 i think.

    The one glaring problem with consol MMO's...the controlers.

    If someone can come up with a better interface (FFXI uses a keyboard I think, but not sure)...then console are just SOL when it comes to MMO's.  MMO's have too much stuff to control for a standard console controler to handle effectively.   Or a developer will really have to simplify the UI for MMO's...which would hurt more than help IMO.

    I know True Fantasy Live Online and Final Fantasy XI will be for Xbox 360

    PS2 has a Keyboard/controller, i got one.

    Main character in Pure Pwnage, Jeremy as himself and Teh Pwnerer...

    I have the ps2 but when it comes to a choice I want my pc, infact I hate consoles for what they are doing. Back in 1997 when i worked at Electronics Botique the computer section wrapped around the walls... now there is a small section for computer games and they have all the console games spread out rofl..

     

    what happened to computers... apparently pc games are only 10% of the video game market, and that makes me sad..

    MMORPGS were the last bastion of PC domination... now that is lost... say farewell to the PC friends.
