Whats a good buidl for a rouge??

  Rogues are iffy now since they have been nerfed to hell and are about as useful as a dancer.  But I would suggest a couple builds.

  For WoE a strip rogue

  70 dex, 50 vit, 30 int and 50 luk

   

  For PvE a gank rogue

  80 str, 99 agi, 30 dex, 30 vit

  Note: only get backstab to the min for Sightless mind, and get Snatch maxed.  Backstab sucks now.

   

  For a fun build the Bow rogue.

  80 dex, 80 agi, 80 luk

  Mug 10, and bow skills.

  whats dex for and why dose back stab suck now?? I whanted to have back stab so bad buy now i dont konw if i should.

  Dexterity does a few things for a rogue

  It increases hit rate

  Slightly increases attack speed

  Increases bow damage

  and increases steal and Strip Chances.

   

  Its a very sad dilemma now with backstab, its no longer spamable, you hit someone once and they turn around.  And its only 700% damage.  So it means in the time it'll take you to set up a backstab you can probably do more with just regular attacks.

  ok can i be a power house rouge that dose not use a bow what im i geting to si striping is that good skill for a rouge i realy dont whant dex but if its the only way i will do what i have to do

  dex isnt as important if your a gank rogue. Generally build them up like an agi knight, get gank maxed, and get Sightless Mind and Snatch, also master 1 hand sword mastery.  Thats all you need and its a very typical build.  Also when you have enough money get a Tsuriga[2] or Ring-Pommel Saber[3] and use a sidewinder card in it; but its not required.

  No points dont transfer over, and stalk lets you move while using the skill "Hide".  The higher you level it, the faster you can move while hiding.  I suggest maxing this too, and Hide as a thief.

  You have to do a quest for it, and it doesnt expend stat points.  Get it if you can, there is no negative effect for having it.  Also its useful from time to time.  It can be spammed does 125% damage and has a chance to blind which helps dodging.  So its somewhat useful, but I rarely ever use it.

  till what job lv will my thief max out or do they ever max out if they dont why not get every skill for the theif and rouge.

  Job class maxes out at level 50; but you can change at job level 40. Most people change at 40 cause getting to job 50 takes FOORRRREEEEEEVVVVVVVEEEEEEEER!!!

  So Just get all the skills you need as a thief and concentrate soley on rogue skills as a rogue.  As a thief going rogue you should use. Steal 10, double attack 10, Improved Flee 10, Hide 10; and whatever.  Some people stynge a point on Hide so they can turn into a rogue 1 level earlier.

  also if i look at the wepons it dose not say if a rouge can equip it. Is it that if a thief can use it a rouge can use it?

  Base level and Job level are independant of one another, but job level usually maxes before you hit level 99.

  Also a few weapons a thief can equip a rogue can't, only one is I think Rogue Master Bow.
