Give me opions and feelings on either game youve played, no i heard this or that. Ive played a little of both game and they both seem pretty solid though i have neither installed on my computer atm so i need your guy's nad girl's help picking which one.

What i wanna haer about:

1.Population of the game

2. Hows the raiding if there is any?

3. Are there dungeons in either if so are they fun?

4.Hows the music, and the size of the world? i like to explore and i want solid music that i can listen to for hours on end.

5.Cake or Pie?

I think LOTRO is the better game. It has nice graphics, a healthy population, lots of fun dungeons and skirmishes, great music and a big world to explore (I'm not a raider so I can't speak to that aspect). Allods is a good looking game, but the the population and game world are both pretty small. There are some dungeons but I never got around to trying them. Plus, Allod's cash shop is more pay-to-win than LOTRO's. As for #5, cake!

I don't listen to in-game music, can't help you with that.

Other than that, both game have a good population. LOTRO have more server and some aren't that much populated.

I haven't raid alot, but if you want to raid in LOTRO, you'll have to either GRIND LIKE A MAD MAN or  pay.

    I like pie.

I would choose Allods. They've updated their game lately to make the game more enjoyable, and it's for everyone.

LOTRO, if you want the last update, you need to pay.

And the combat in LOTRO is so slow, you might fall asleep.

But Allods PVP is more Pay-To-Win.

Allods is not a good game.

It is a F2P game, in the same sense that WoW is F2P... Sure you can play up to level 20, but after that if you don't start paying you cant play (not effectively at least.)

Allods will cost you more money to play at end game than any P2P game.

I can't say much about LotRO as I havn't tried it.

Lotro, because in allods it will cost you hundreds ot thousands of dollars for ONE CHAR to be viable for endgame, and without this kind of spending your char won't be able to do it. F2P mmo's endgames are almost ALWAYS based around you having to throw thousands of dollars at your char for it to be viable. Lotro is not f2p, a f2p game has no locked content or classes that your charged extra for, if you are charges for content etc its more of a freemium, since while u can play for free a good chunk of the game is locked out for you. City of heroes is a prime example of this with even indivual game features being locked unless you pay for them, or sub.

Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:

    A. Proven right (if something bad happens)

    or

    B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

LOTRO is an AWESOME game...the only thing is the Combat is so freaking slow and to me it was ultra-boring...most boring combat pace i have played.

    Allods is garbage though.

I've played both and really I would try some other game imo.

But like most have said you need to spend some money to actually enjoy Allods to the fullest. But you'll also have to spend some money to unlock the things you want in lotro. Or you can grind the hell out of both games and MAYBE get what you need to make it enjoyable. Theres so much you need in allods though, bag space etc. that i think it would cost much more.

If you enjoy pvp allods would be the way to go.

If you like to group then lotro would be better.

    In terms of graphics, LOTRO>>>>>>Allods.

And no, you won't be able to have fun. Without paying, you'll get destroyed by /everyone/. I mean, some of the game mechanics are nice (Astral is probably the best example) but it's not fun when you get your ass handed to you on a silver platter every single time.

If you started from the beginning of open beta like I did, you might be okay, but starting from scratch with no intention to shell out cash? Stay far, far away.

Tryed Allods and it still feels like the same crappy game so guess you guys were right. and i dont think i can go back to Lotro with that slow combat. Anyone have a suggestion for a good (Darkish) fantasy MMORPG. I just want a game with common but polished mechanics no clunky unresponsive controls please. :) thanks in advance!

F2p is better since im pretty much always out of money. DAMN BILLS!
