Whats up guys welcome to this edition of Level Up Extra BLIZZZ CON edition! And to start of this chain of videos for Blizzcon, we have theee most ground breaking peice of news for MMORPGs... Mists of Pandaria is confirmed to be Blizzard Entertainments World Of Warcrafts next expansion... listen... listen... did you hear Blizzards stocks drop? Or was that just me?
With all opinions aside for now, Mists of Pandaria will feature lore from the first ever neutral race Pandaren. The Pandarian race is known to be peaceful and neutral and in the expantion players will be able to explore an all-new continent, while reaching new heights of power on their way to an increased level cap of 90. While these generic updates are ok, the shining part of this peice of news is both Alliance and Horde will get a new race in the Pandaren.
The New class in World Of Warcraft Mists Of Pardaria is Monk, which will be available for the Pandaren, Draenei, Dwarf, Gnome, Human, Night Elf, Blood Elf, Orc, Tauren, Troll, Forsaken, and the class will be a cloth and leather armor wearer that can use Fist Weapons, One-Handed Axes, One-Handed Maces, One-Handed Swords, Polearms, Staves.
Other new features to World Of Warcraft Mists Of Padaria include:
Challenge Mode - The clock is ticking with this mode, making it so people who want more of a challenge in dungeon situations to have a beat the clock sorta mode. If you beat certain times,
Pet Battle System - Ever want Pokemon in World Of Warcraft? Well with the Pet Battle System you level your pets, and go into a menu just like pokemons to battle em against others.
Senarios - Info coming soon, but the description is: Join forces with your fellow heroes and embark on epic Scenarios that will challenge you like never before. Probably a dynamic events.
New Tallent Calculator - Described as "eliminatiing the usless tallents" which will also bring in a new interface.
Ok now with all the facts out of the way, let me give you my take on this expantion. As mentioned in the first paragraph, I see the end of blizzards reign of chaos with World Of Warcraft because of Mists Of Pandaria because Pandas blizzard really? Im sure the next expantion after MoP will be "The Rise Of The Hello Kitty!". In my mind this has to go with the biggest epic failures in history, but if blizzard can pull it off, which I highly doubt, I will give them huge props.
Overall the features in pandaria are pretty cool, and although i dont like the race of pandas, I do like the zones. The archetecture is cool, and chinese like, which will give a player a good atmosphere to level in. I just dont see this working, Burning Crusade bad ass, Wrath Of The Lich king Lore bad ass, content boring, Cataclysm cool but got nerfed to not so cool... and now Mists Of Pandaria... Free realms? Wizzard Online?

I am curious about the timing of this announcement .... obvious reference being SWTOR release date. I don't play wow anymore, only got to lvl 30 back in release of '04, it was ok but i was playing EVE online instead.

To the OP. I like Pandas, love the Kung Fu Panda movies and love the oriental flavor this expack is going to bring. It's diverse and different and lighthearted. Just what the game needs to get back to it's roots.

Yeah the world boss system they are going to have set up will be cool, but the expansion pulling off pandas? That will be tricky.
HEy if i could get a lean mean bruce lee like panda monk i would want that WHAAA TAAAAAAHHHH... WOOO!!!!! I mean think of the poor pvper that get droped by a pvping monk panda wanabe brucce lee. Price less i tell ya price less.
Buying a computer - 500+$, Buying World Of Warcraft 100$+, Killing a player with a panda - Priceless.
HEy now i could bruce lee getting up and doing it too with ingame voice overs for the entire race too.
Im sorry but as soon as I saw the ummm....pandas in the video I started laughing out loud. They looked even worse in motion and I wasnt expecting that.

And....they added a pet system that works like Pokemon? Where you even battle pets? What the.....
ultimate deterent to ganking if you are found ganking or been ganking in a game you are sent to wow, made to pay them three times their sub fee and have to pvp 24 hours a day on a panda monk charracter. Your comp would then have a screen shot featre that would take a ss whenever you kill a player and send it to the company.

just kinda weird without a target arch enemy going into this new x-pac, seems they wana focus back to pvp, most properly i'll come back and lvl a panda monk, but only 5 new.level is too little.RIP Orc Choppa
I take the pet system as a sub game, like the fishing competition. more sub game is good, add more variety, just kinda disappointed that there's still no player housingRIP Orc Choppa
Player housing is a cool feature I agree. But for some reason I dont think thats a feature Blizzard ever intends to impliment or they would have by now. Guild halls especially could be even more practical and useful to players. But again, I dont see that happening either. Guess you'd have to play other mmos for that feature.

I like my open world PVP... thats one of the things I miss about WoW actually.

I really like the idea of pandas as new race, it is something different and it looks like that a lot of people are worried about this. I was curious, is everyone worried because they might possibly be scared of changed, since these new changes could be out of their comfort zone?
Just seems childish is all.
And that's good, the biggest problem with WoW imo is that in vanilla you could only do instanced PvP or raids at end game. Same with TBC. Same with Wotlk. Same with Cata. FINALLY they are adding some new ways to play the damn game, in the 4th expansion no sooner. It is a good thing, very good thing. I dont know how the "PvE battlegrounds" will work but that sounds like a new way to play the game also, more options to play the game makes it more diverse and longer lasting and appeals to bigger audience which I find a good thing, the lite-mmos with only raiding as end game are crap and grows old fast.
