We here at MMORPG.com will be blogging the opening ceremonies of this year's Blizzcon! We're expecting big news from all three Blizzard franchises including World of Warcraft, Diablo III and Starcraft 2. Keep you eye on our Staff Blog for up to the second news!

While I'm almost at the point of hating blizzards lack if effort regarding their games, or rather their desire for money, I am kinda interested in what they will say at blizzcon regarding the franchise. I expect them to say something about D3's release (If it hasnt been said already, I'm not sure). And I expect info on the next expansion for SC2, and probably the next Expansion for WoW since they are about to take on the final raid. I dont expect much info on Titan.
But one thing I dont understand is why go to a convention like Blizzcon instead of something like Pax (not at the staff but towards people who pay so much more for blizzcon than pax).
Well cool, hope you guys have a great time. Personally I just no longer really care what this company has up its sleeves.

Once Blizzard started to open up cash shops & got in bad with Bobby Kotick, I lost respect for the company.
What was once a company that tried really hard to make games has become a nickel & diming cash cow.

90 lvl cap

All new landmass is being added - Pandaria. Very Asian-esq looking world. New class - MONK. New race - Pandarian. New talent system. Pet battle system. PVP based expansion. Looks so very cool! Due out 2012.

But can't really say I'm horribly surprised by this. WoW's lore long ago went into the bizarre and whatever feels 'cool' without letting any semblance of coherence bother them.

Does anyone else remember when the Pandaran race was an April Fools joke? Blizzard must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Looks the opposite of cool, actually. When did WoW become an Asian MMO? What's next? Grinding your way to level 90?
Anyway....one good thing I see with this expansion is that it seems, from first glance, as if they are trying to get away from raiding as being the only form of endgame progression, so props to them there. It appears as though there may be more of an emphasis on open world PvP and PvP-objectives, so that's not a bad thing.
But yeah...Blizzard has jumped the shark as far as everything else. This doesn't look too impressive overall. And Blood Elves everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief, as they'll no longer be the most ridiculed race in the game. Pandas make Blood Elves look like Chuck Norris by comparison.
Alot of people has been asking for Pandorans for a long long time. I am not suprised by this one bit. To much else going on in the MMORPG world for them not to do something so popular between players. Good job Blizz (No I will not go back to your money grubbing asses).
I will be interested to see what they do with the monk class. If I was still playing I would NOT be interested in how many varients of Kung Fu Panda will be used as a name. It will be all the xxxLegolasxxx or XxXSepherothxXx crap again.
Pet battle system? Heh not sure how they will do this but its going to piss alot of people off I bet. That or it will be a meaningless minigame that they really dont talk about a whole lot and just used it at blizzcon as another bullet point.
The only thing I see thats cool so far is them offering Diablo 3 for free if you buy a years sub to WoW. Sure its a money grab trying to get people to buy a years sub when they may be leaving for ToR or GW2 (or any other MMO in the comming year) but there are still enough people devoted to WoW. It will be a good deal for them.
Oh and they said Rogue getting there own legendary I think? What they didnt tell you is its from the cash shop only LOL.

So have they said who will be Warchief? Thrall, Garrosh or a Murloc?
