charisma with buying

does anyone know if charisma affects the prices you buy at in DDO? cuz i usually make a fighter or barbarian and take all my cha pts off and dump it onto STR or CON. But since you cant control a party like in IWD or BG, i dont want my fighter w/ 3 cha spending a thousand gold on a healing potion or stuff like that.

Since WotC is watching Turbine very closely and one of the developers helped create 3.0e and 3.5e, I have a hunch that charisma will influence prices.  Furthermore, one of their beta managers ("Xundau") has this to say: "I wouldn't expect Charisma, or any other stat, to behave much differently than it does in PnP D&D. It'll be an important stat for Sorcerers, Bards, Paladins -- maybe Clerics to a lesser degree; for other classes, it won't have much of a direct effect on gameplay".

For more details, you can visit their forum post on the matter here.

Obviously the rulebooks won't be translated perfectly into the game; changes must be made for various reasons.  My point was that, in this instance, Turbine seems to be maintaining consistency with 3.5e (something that cannot be determined by reading rulebooks).
