Is Battlefield 2 in Open Beta? Would you guys recommend this game? Can you give me any tips? Is it total PVP?

Battlefield 2 has been released, its an online FPS, such as CS.

Judging by the question, I doubt he knew it was an FPS. With the many references to BF2 on these forums, I could certainly see someone who doesn't have any idea what it is getting the idea that its an RPG, and people like it.
And I also agree. Posts flaming someone with a legitimate question should be deleted

I too have to agree with Gunblade on this one. There's so much morons out there that ask these kind of questions which could be easily answered by a quick google search.

It was released in June, solid FPS...i split my time between BF2 and DAoC.
