Uuuugly.

Seriously this is a game of pinball.  You wait for the bumper to reset then hit a button, all the flashing lights are superficial.

You're one leet button pusher.

Shannox's mechanics look more complicated than any pinball game I ever played.  And he's only one of many different games to learn at endgame.

Until something better comes along learning a new game each boss is a great system.

My criticism of endgame has always been the "you need 25 people" part of it.  5- or 10-man content is way more enjoyable.

This is the Make Love Not Warcraft episode on Southpark, everyone probably saw it by now.

Look how the character's mouth move when they talk into teamspeak.  Now imagine WOW having one centralized vocal program like Teamspeak but for everyone to hear and where your character's lips move to what you are saying, anyone can hear you if they are within range and your voice attenuates at distance, and allow the player to alter their voice like higher pitch for a gnome.  That would be great.

Developers are so unoriginal, all they can come up with lately is voiceover which everyone is going to skip anyways.

The program can detect if your voice lowers pitch and your eyebrows furrow, the voice can detect if your voice increase pitch and your face gets a concerned look.  I'm sure there are programs like this already out there.  The program can detect if you're laughing and the character laughs, geez.

That will bring a whole new meaning to the mute button lol

I guess it could be nice, but I don't see the need to have character lips move to what you are saying, do you just mean lips moving is some general way(which is fine) or actually mimicing what you are trying to say, cos I think the latter will be overkill.

I think some games already have centralised vocal program, Runes of Magic have their own voice channel I think. but it just isn't used much either, players usually go back to third party software. Devs just won't have time to upkeep all the devices.

I'm not talking about a voice channel in Runes of Magic, I'm talking about something better.

That's right, players didn't use that in Runes of Magic, just like players skip over quest descriptions and "voiceovers" like i've seen in SWTOR videos.  Devs are finally figuring out all they need to do is increase level cap and add new raids and instances every 6 months or so. Increase level cap and add new instances.  Increase level cap and add new instances.  Over and over, that's all they need to do, and nothing else.

That mute comment got me thinking.

Usually when a goldseller starts blabbing players immediately start ignoring that goldseller.  It's too bad players aren't given an option of:

A-Automatically ignore player if 25 other players ignores this player

B-Automatically ignore player if 50 other players ignores this player

C-Automatically ignore player if 100 other players ignores this player

Ignore also means you can't group with players in LFG tool, so it works there too.

So if you chose C, you automatically ignore hundreds of thousands of players who are jerks in PUGS or goldfinders.

    Developers are unimagineative

So how is it going to enhance gameplay?

Right now, what you have propose simply make life a bit easier, but the OP is asking about endgame content, not voicechat for socialisiing. Unless you are hinting towards talking progression lol
