Tabula Rasa.
They use swords, guns, and even books and musical instruments as weapons.
The main city, Sanctuary is a floating military city.

I'd be interested in a Horror type MMO.
Nah, i was looking a tabula rasa, not what i had in mind. Im keeping my eye on it but so far its nothing that would blow my mind.
I'm more of a scifi guy. Star Wars Galaxies was a flop, there was some elements that made you feel you were in the Star Wars world, but not enough. Or maybe I quit too early, but hey... I boycotted Jump to Lightspeed and I'm sticking to that. Besides, I got EQ2 to keep me busy anyways.
But hey, ever since they day they announced STAR TREK ONLINE, I'm totally focussed on that game and any upcoming news about it.
I'm not a diehard trekkie, actually the only series I ever liked was The Next Generation. But if Star Trek Online truly lives on to the whole Star Trek world, the fact that we can be on Star Ships, explore galaxies, then beam onto a planet and explore the planet in an adventure/RPG style of gameplay, then that game is definatly my dream MMORPG.
Just as long as they don't screw it up like SWG. And as long as they don't make Star Trek Online a game like Eve Online. I don't want a SpaceShip-only MMORPG... I want a game kinda like Star Wars Galaxies, except with less bugs, a balanced combat system, a game without an end-game, a game without a "jedi-like system" (Let's hope you aren't given the option to become a Borg and just rule the whole universe)

I'll go for blond hair, white skin elves anyday!!! ____ _ ____________ _ ____
1) Call of Cthulhu - a horror MMORPG based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft
2) Last of the Mohicans - a MMORPG based on the Seven Years War in America (known as the French and Indian War over here). This would have great PvP with players being American Indians or frontiersmen. Admit it, you'd really like to scalp your enemy, wouldn't you. Guilds would be in the form of Indian tribes or provincial militias. In addition to PvP there would be crafting, trading (bartering with trade-goods, not coin), exploring, hunting, and trapping.
A MMOG based on World War I aerial combat, like "Red Baron" by Dynamix would be sweet.

I doubt anyone knows it, but I'd love to see an mmo based in the world of The Black Company preferably before the ariving of the Company, during the reign of the Dominator.
a game based on the Dark Tower world would be fairly interesting as well
I wish swg wasnt such a flop. they took a great setting and killed it. i think star trek online will be cool if it's not like swg.
i would like to see a battle tech mmorpg. there is alot of great stuff in there that would be ideal for a game.
i would like to see a western style mmorpg. where you could be a bandit or a sherrif and stuff. there could be goldmines and the oregon trail and all the fun cowboy jazz.
a real life (no magic stuff or dragons) dark age game would be sweet. or a roman or greek setting? or maybe a game that covered all of ancient europe, you could be greek, roman, egyptian, etc...
just as a side not, it would be nice if a mmorpg would step out the norm and be totally different. like instead of being people you could be animals. like a jungle book setting. it would be cool to be a tiger and attack a lion or a pack of wolves.
I prefer Cyberpunk to Shadowrun. Think William Gibson 'Neuromancer', add in Neal Stephenson's 'Snow Crash', with the gritty realism and bright neon of 'Blade Runner', with Cyberpunk corporations (for the PvP/RvR element).
I would dearly love to play in a persistent world version of 'Neuromancer'. That would be the absolutely bomb for me.
CoC [Call of Cthulhu] is perhaps the best PnP [Pen and Paper] RPG. Period. Which is why it would be the worst MMORPG. Seriously, imagine the dialogue, "OMFG! Cthulhu fkin r0x0r! lolol1!!?"?". The RPG - like the books - was about psychological horror, as well as the moral vacuum in which the universe existed (the Cthulhu mythos did not care about Man's moral framework of the Universe; they eventually planned to wipe Man out).

Anything that isn't space/sci fi truthfully. I've never been a fan of it. At all.
Western. I'd love to see a american western style mmo... Except with more... magic, and magical weaponry? Mainly just so you could get alot "cooler" guns =P.
If your asking about a specific game/thing to place it in... I'd have to say a mmorpg based on sin city would be pretty fantastic.

I'd like to see a mmorpg based on White Wolf's World of Darkness.
For those of you wanting to see a Fallout inspired mmo, check out Fallen Earth, under development.
A mmo setting back in prehistoric times, but mixing dinosaurs with man, would be cool, too.
