One of the oldest guilds in MO taking a break because lack of content.

Seems one of the longest supporting guilds of MO is taking a break.  There are a couple of it's players still around in Mod positions.  We all know who they are.

Since a lot of people seem to be confused and can't stop asking, here's an official statement about the status of AI.



AI as a whole is currently taking a break from Mortal Online. Some of us might still be playing at some point and we are not gone completely as there are still plans to come back to playing Mortal actively. We just can't find anything to do with what is currently possible. Effectively we are still around somewhere just not doing anything on a guild scale. We will be back actively and achieving server first explorations and constructions once we find something to do again and a place for us to be.



So you are welcome to still hate us while we are gone and also to do so when we are back. Of course we are taking all the special privileges that people say we have with us. So you'll have to find someone else to stir up rumors. :P

    understandable. AI tried to the empire building thing and it didnt really work out for them, and theres not much else to do in game other than pvp (when theres even people to pvp lol) and.. well put it this way - whenever i saw an AI member in game i thought "walking loot" so it's understandable that they would take a break.

     

    definately a lot of nice people in that guild though so i hope the game reaches a state that makes them return

    they are taking a break as a guild i beleive, most if not all are still gonig to be playing, just solo, in other guilds, or concentrating on moderation/ being a gm since most are mods and councilors in AI.

     

    TBH its for the best.

    there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.

    It may be best but I doubt it is best for the game.  They failed at empire building but they are exceeding at game control.  I love the line by the guy saying :we will be back to do server firsts"  They get server firsts because of the position they hold with SV.

    I think that when the official SV Community Manager's guild, the one he founded and populates most Mod/GM/Councellor positions, states that they are taking a break from the game due to having nothing to do... it really says just about anything you need to know about the game.

    Agreed,...no matter what spin they try to put on it.
