Maybe its just me who is not very creative , but I cant so far come up with a name for my avatar, male name, that isnt already taken. I suspect people are creating chars just to take names and then they dont play them. I wish Funcom would allow spaces in the name to allow more options. I just want a name not a stupid nickname e.g. galaxystar thats what you name a horse.

well, the system goes first name, nick name, last name. apparently in the future everyone has nicknames. for inspiration, try looking at it from an RP perspective, what would people call you? would they know you for being generally mischevious, or serious, or wimpy?

I can be all of the above mischevios, wimpy, seruois and I change,evolve . So I dont want a limiting nickname that discribes me in a particular way. The way it is now its veru hard to get a decent name.
I dont think it is u, I have the exact same problem. I type in random characters and yet still nothing happens. As if "asdfsdfaefaew" is alread taken. lol
