trying to reignite by love for WoW.

So, i got the 10 day ressurection scroll and my guild started raiding again, so i came back to WoW this month. However im having troubles getting into the game, nothing really seems all that fun anymore. I've tried leveling an alt, even with the cataclsym its all the same. I tried making an alliance toon(all mine are horde), and again its all the same save for the story line which no one pays attention to anyway. I've tried PVP and that got old quick, just not for me i guess.

So, mmorpg.com, what do?

I resubscribed for one month in september and had no interest in catching up on my main.  I leveled some new alts for a while and decided it wasn't wroth paying for.  I come back for the expansions and that's it.  I'm not sure I'll be back for MoP though.

Either the game is fun or it isn't.  Burn out happens and Blizzard really did hurt the game, other than leveling, with Cata.

Coming to mmorpg.com to ask for  any sort of positive stuff about WoW?

    You surely jest.

This HAS to be a troll feeding the lesser trolls.

Just let it go, if it's something you truly enjoyed once, you will go back and enjoy it naturally. Having long breaks from the game isn't bad, I've had about 3 breaks from WoW, all about 6 months or more. It's easy for me to leave, but if you are struggling just tell yourself you won't play it for a month and play single player games, if you play other MMOs you may be reminded of the things you enjoyed in WoW.

The WoW magic has been gone for me as well for some time now.  It just happens, nothing you can do about it.  You may cherish your nostalgic memories, but they will forever remain where they belong: in the past.

I found some redemption for WoW in the redone old zones.  The quest chains and storylines were usually quite entertaining.  And just because "nobody reads the quests" doesn't mean you don't have to.  Try it sometime.  I too returned to the alliance for cata, after playing horde for the end of BC and all of Wrath.  It felt a bit like a coming home party :)  While I haven't had an active account for about 10 months, I dappled around on a free trail account to do the human starting zones again because their stories and chains were so well done; also because I was filled with the Halloween spirit and just wanted to roam around Duskwood, which is one of my all time favorite MMO settings.
