Well everyone who plays a dragon knows that they are definitely not the runt race of Horizons that they once were. Sure they might not compare to a biped with 5 or more adventure schools, but dragon adventurers can stand their ground against a triple-schooled biped without breaking much of a sweat.
So it was good to see a post where it was confirmed that dragons are indeed getting their first taste of multischooling. I know Dozer will jump on this with a 'but it was said on IRC and it was said by DB so it can't be true' but I don't really care, I'm posting the link anyhow.

Dragons rejoice, you've been waiting long enough for your first chance to experiment with more than one adventure or craft school, your time is almost at hand !

I havn't tried a dragon yet, but the multiclassing in this game rocks
I hope they don't change a thing as far as the bipeds go. After the patches for the dragons come out I'm deffinatly going to give one a try.
Kewlness, I'm gonna start my first dragon tomorrow on my day off
I think it's time I started a dragon too
It seems many dragons are welcoming this news A few grumbles about having to level another craft school a bit from those dragons who do not enjoy crafting at all, but for the most part people in-game seem to be welcoming the news and are looking forward to it eagerly
Now the question remains, what's the reward for becoming an ancient dragon ? A choice of a new adventure school ?
Read the link.
Only question is this, what dragon tools will be crafted/deconstructed to level laircrafting?
AE --> Tulga Games have set the precedence of leveling construction skills by making/breaking hand tools. Same for dragons?
Edit: The lair (plot construction) screenshot in a nearby post on the community.istaria.com board looks promising.
Dragons don't make tools per se, so the simple answer is they won't be making 'dragon tools' as you call them.
Considering that I went from level 1 to level 45 mason in the last 7 days just doing sandstone and slate blocks/keystones on my plot, I think it's only fair to tell you that not everyone relies on tools. Since dragons do not have sculpting / metalworking / clothworking / woodworking skills, I believe it is safe to say that dragons will be relying on their lairshaping skill to level the school.
Unless you have first-hand experience of the dragon lair crafting school, we can conject and surmise all we like, until we see the school on Blight shard we're guessing. Except for the fact dragons won't be making dragon tools to level their construction school. If they did get that option, who are they going to sell their dragon tools to ?
I have a hunch dragons will be disadvantaged in much the same way as enchanters - they can't grind on tools to level, since no tools are made out of essence orbs. On the other hand, if you get DCRA over 80, you'll most likely be able to level Laircrafting on mithril and/or marble resource processing. Stock your guild or biped slave's silos with marble slabs and you can blow through 50 levels of Laircrafter in 30 minutes.
For those not in IRC, David indicated a bit ago that they have 30 different lair modules (rooms & passages), six tiers of each, in both Lunus and Helian architectural styles. There will also be a hoard chamber, but he gave no details on that. And yes, it is possible to build a personal shrine at the bottom of a pit, and any biped foolish enough to bind there is screwed until a WM takes pity and relocates them.

lol that's me told I need to remember pawnbrokers actually buy stuff, instead of being a repository for expert formulas that others don't want and I might need
