I just wanted to give some love to a sister company.  The Escapist magazine launched today.

    Very cool mag. thanks for posting the heads up. The article "The Mainstream is Comming" was fantastic, very well written. The girl that wrote the second article... "Gamers like me" I think it is, god what a bore. I knew the point of the article after the first paragraph and it just went on and on, apparently I'm an impatient gamer :)

    Wow, that's some good reading! That's the type of reviews and editorials I wanna read... I am sooooo sick of the factual "editorials" that simply compare games to determine if the reader likes it. Everyone plays games to have fun, and I wanna know what games people are having fun in! I don't freakin care if it's got the same quest system of WoW, or has the graphics of Ryzom, or the depth of Gods and Heroes... that's great, that's fine, but I wanna know if people are having fun in the game and why. Remember how much fun Tetris was? Compare that to today's games and it would get a 2/10...

    Definetly worth subscribing to... plus it's free! imageimageimage
