Intelligence vs. Focus skill

Fizban71Fizban71 Member Posts: 2

Okay, I am making a new lock, my question is. which would give me higher hitting spells.. double intelligence jewerly and stave or intelligence & focus skill? I dont want to waste all the resources to only find out I did it wrong.

I am maxing my intelligence along with golding my focus skills..  So what is the answer here...

Thank you

Sincerely,

INT + Focus skill will give you more accurate and more powerful spells.

Lapis of "focus skill" will give you more ATR

Lapis of Genius will give you more damage for spells, slightly less ATR

No matter what, INT raises the bar on ALL focus skills, Armor skills, and Weapon skills. It raises the max they can be, and for ever 5 you gain 1% focus (or so.. not exactly sure).

focus it adds to damage, but the main thing a warlock needs is atr you need to hit to be effective. and i would suggest resist of focus for pvp, i love my resists.

It'a a close call for fighterlocks, because you need every ounce of damage you can get, but I generally prefer int + focus skill also, because the atr is worth loosing a tiny bit of damage.

This is not a fighter lock... this is a vamp mage warlock

I guess it really depends on your preferance. Two 24 int rings and a ammy will give you a decent gap of damage between int + focus jewels. however your atr will be slightly less. In my personal experience there really isn't much use for the extra atr. If you have a good enough roup or guild and you guys call your targets and actually have everyone attack that target then the def debuffs and such that are thrown on the target should drop their def well below your atr, that's when that extra dmg is needed, and prefered.
