Ouch. I hate to go against what is done now, and that it all seems settled. But fulmanfu was selected as a pending winner, came on here and posted he had no emails to confirm it, I even told him to contact the site with "Contact Us" which he said in this thread that he did in plenty of time for his 24 hour claim period. And then he was disqualified and the end result was what it was.
Honestly, I think justice is only that fulmanfu gets in. Epsecially if he did infact email you guys about this in his 24 hour claim period. It really isn't his fault if he didnt get any mail in his email OR any mail in his mmorpg.com mailbox is it??
Couldn't you guys as a site (mmorpg.com staff) request to the RV company that 181 enter the beta due to a mistake, I'm sure that they wouldn't mind too much if 181 got in would they? (especially since prolly more then half of the 180 selected won't even play it for more then 2 hours anyhow)

they(mmorpg.com) probably already did send the info to redbedlam, but as some of you might know, they are currently devoloping a game known as roma victor which is probably taking up a majority of their time, be patient it will come when the devs have enough time to let us in. Im sure that we are not first priority. And remeber they are based out of England so when they send us our e-mails, it will more than likely be when we are sleeping. So check your e-mails tomarrow morning and hopefully there will be a shiny new message with our accounts in them. ( sorry for the sarcasm if it offended anyone)

They didn't confirm the final 180th winner until late Thursday, early Friday so even if the mmorpg admins submitted the FINAL list of 180 people to Redbelam on Friday they PROBABLY wouldn't get a response back until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. Not everyone works 24 hours a day 7 days a week to make sure you get your RV beta account information. I'm sure no one from Redbelam works Saturday and Sunday as they need to have a life too. Calm down and relax. MMORPG admins and Redbelam aren't going to stiff you your accounts. Quit being inconsiderate and be happy that you DID win as there were thousands of people that didn't. Be patient and you will have your chance to test the game. Give them time to get the list to Redbelam and get the login accounts created, etc.
They may not let us all straight in either. Depending on their BETA stage and scheduling it could be some time before they allocate the accounts. The competition was for a spot in the BETA. No one really mentioned about when that spot may become available.
Considering the game is still in a pretty closed phase right now... its hard to say what will happen.

rofls this thread is still going. Patience chillens, all we won is a SPOT in the beta. They start it when they feel it is prudent. All they said is we will be notified by e-mail. I hope everyone reports bugs and makes suggestions on the official forums once they start loggin in. Till then, think up hilarious things to say in latin.

I haven't even read that much about this game. I haven't been following it like some others such as Dark and Light and D&D Online. But I can see how some people who may have been following it for a long time might be excited. What little I have seen makes it look pretty cool.
Honestly, I think I am getting sick and tired of reading tons of hype, more hype, and promises from game-makers only to be disappointed when I actually play their released product. This has happened now for me with WoW, EQ2, Horizons, Shadowbane, Lineage 2, RYL, Asherons Call 2, and Mourning just to name a few on the top of my head. Games I read about, eagerly anticipated, and then was hugely let down. And that doesn't even include games like Ultima Online 2 and Wish that never even saw the light of day. Hopefully one day, I'll just try (or test) a new game and see that it is trying to break the mold of recent years and go back to the elements of what I consider a real mmo. Hopefully one game will do the right things without me having to read all the hype for years and risk another disappointment. Maybe then, I'll actually just be surprised when I first see it.
I don't think I ask a lot honestly. All I ask for is to NOT over stream line the damn game. Leave some challenge in it. Make the rewards actually require some challenge so you feel like you accomplished something when you get them. If I die, I wanna pay a stiff price. That way, maybe the bots left running a random pattern next to me will be discouraged to just go and attack any mob in sight for the exp gain.. regardless of whether it wins or loses. If I die, I should lose some if not all of my inventory. To be able to keep just a few of my items that I have worked extremely hard for (that have like a "no-drop" feature) would be nice. But don't just give me these no-drop items on random bunnies I kill for crying out loud. Or on ridiculously easy quests where I talk to person A, kill X critters, and go talk to person B. No, to get a that cool no-drop sword of ice or whatever, I wanna have to work hard for it. I want to be one of the few and small percentage that actually is proud enough to hold one when I get one. And for crying out loud, ban any bastard that is running a bot to get them and selling them on Ebay to every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
For all you people that think I am insane for wanting an extremely difficult and way too challenging mmo, ummm that's fine. ...Go play one of the countless other overly stream-lined piles of money making garbage games already out there waiting just for you and the ten million other impatient kiddies that want your uber armor and god-sword now and wanna kill every friggin creature right NOW with no risk what-so-ever. I want a challenge. Make the game ridiculously hard and challenging... PLEASE! Then maybe - just maybe it won't be more of this super easy, super boring, nothing but auto attack and wait and camp the same spot for 3 hours BS for mmos we've seen the past 5 years.
