MMORPG.com has been given a large batch of beta access keys for Star Wars: The Old Republic! While this key will not give you instant access to the beta test, it will allow you to register for a guaranteed spot in the next stress test.
NOTE: You must redeem this code no later than Nov 18, 2011 @ 11:59PM CST in order to get your invite.

Redeem beta-code page not found...
Wow, ~25k codes! That's pretty sweet. If I had the available bandwidith, I'd claim one. As it stands though, I'm stuck waiting on my boxed copy.
I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil
sweet, got a code and it works
I wont ruin my experience with stress test, there will be way too much crashing, lag, server resets, etc and yeah, I work poorly stressed.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure .
It didn't work for me. I assume this is technically 'Open Beta'? Perhaps those who did closed beta are already qualified? Or maybe the page is just down...
Our link had an extra backslash (/) at the end which was causing a problem. Link fixed and it should work now. Have fun!

last time i got an email saying my application had been accepted for the beta, i was so excited but then i found out the beta lasts for only 2 days -.- ||. imo not worth looking into it.
REMEMBER!!!
Do NOT apply this code to your account if you got the "You have been selected" email from TOR last week. You may not get into future tests if you do!
Quote from last week's email: Please do not acquire and redeem one of these codes as it could jeopardize your ability to participate in this test.
Now you tell me. and yes I went back to the email and sure enough that's right. *shrug* What can you do. If I burned it, nothing to do about it now.
mine registered fine
Well, this really puts me in a pickle.
The way my email was worded I thought it was only good for last weekends (11, 12, 13) beta test ONLY.
I was invited last week but got the 2nd email saying that IF you had been invited before (for CB testing) not to do anything with the keys being given out to industry resources like MMOrpg.com
They said it, I didn't see/remember it. Oh well time will tell.
I'm in a dilemma here. I got mail from Bioware informing me that i'm about to participate in the next beta weekend and that i shall not acquire nor redeem a key from any site. Yet these MMORPG keys look tasty What shall i do?
What if I only got one email saying that I would be able to test the game from the 11th to the 13th and I redeemed this code right now?
If you signed up for BETA on the SWTOR site before Nov 11th (and you must have if you got invited for this weekends beta) then you don't need to do anything. You are automatically invited for this 'event'. The people they are trying to catct now are the ones who haven't signed up already.
So no, you don't need a key from a site (and in fact, in a couple of places - it actually says redeeming a code may mess things up - like on Massively)
This is correct. MMORPG needs to put a warning on their key page about this.
HOOO TY SOO MUCH! I am assuming I will get invited for the upcoming weekend?
"To be a rock and not to roll..."
That depends on what you mean by "upcomming". If you mean this weekend(18-20th), then no. Bioware has not even announced the next testing dates yet. However if you mean the next test they have(whenever it may be), then yes.
Recieved my beta code from MMORPG site and went to my SWTOR account page and logged in.
To redeam the code click on the redean code on the right side of your account page and enter the code when the enter code screen comes up.
After you enter the code you should get an welcome message and beta test event 1 at the bottom left of your account page showing that you are now signed up for the event.
Have fun and be safe in the game.
What happens if I do redeem a code from MMORPG.com?
No one knows for sure. However an email from Bioware said it may cause problems with you being able to test if you were already accepted and then redeem a promotional key.
I was going to mention the BioWare email, but I wasn't sure if it was exclusive to those who had taken part in the last Weekend Test and was thus protected by the NDA. Didn't want to get in trouble!
Read the second e mail more carefully, it s saying if you redeem a code you ll not be able to participate in this test. I m sure that means the test that just passed. If not, big deal test it with this code and wait a month to play.
