I got that email too.. But I also grabbed a code just in-case I run into any problems with the system when it comes time for beta.. You just never know..
What if I only got one email saying that I would be able to test the game from the 11th to the 13th and I redeemed this code right now?
If you signed up for BETA on the SWTOR site before Nov 11th (and you must have if you got invited for this weekends beta) then you don't need to do anything. You are automatically invited for this 'event'. The people they are trying to catct now are the ones who haven't signed up already.
So no, you don't need a key from a site (and in fact, in a couple of places - it actually says redeeming a code may mess things up - like on Massively)
What happens if I do redeem a code from MMORPG.com?
If you're already in the SW:TOR beta test then not worth redeeming the code, I think.
I did git a e-mail from them on the 12 that my account was accepted to the beta stress test but i couldn't downloaded the game to try it out. Does any when know why i couldn't download the game to test it?

Yes, you dont need this code, everyone with an account in swtor.com will be invited to the next stress test weekend, the keys are just for new accounts. But looks like it will be a real stress test, they have more than 1 mill of accs registered in the beta, and everyone will be there.
People who got the second email that you would be invited then grab a code makes me sick. Some people never got that email and are trying to get codes to be invited, yet it amazes me that alot of people are greedy as hell

Because you are being let into the next beta test, not the one that was currently running. Just keep checking the testing site at www.swtor.com/tester. They usually open up the ability to download the client 3-4 days ahead of the beta test weekend for your group. They haven't announced when the next stress test weekend is yet, so they won't allow those people do download the client until they have a date. Just keep checking at eventually it will be there.

Dont worry, Bioware already told us that using a promotional key after we have already been invited might mess up our account. So the people doing this may wind up not being able to test at all.

Last I checked this site has 21,000 keys. Its not that big of a deal.

At the time of this writing there are over 20k codes left..
No, not having a bad day, but it's just common sense. There may be 20 000 keys left but those may end up going fast, it just bugs me that some people will grab anything and everything even if they don't need it. Just my two cents that's all.

I agree with you bro. People that do not need extra keys are just straight up being stingy. There is most likely people whom will not get keys and be denied out of the beta. I then can guarantee you we will see mass threads amongst forums on the internet saying "SELLING SWTOR BETA KEYS!".

Well my personal promise and guarantee is that, if I am sent my instructions and information regaurding the beta and my current status as tester without having to use the key by the 18th of November (deadline) , I will personally release my key to whoever wants or needs it by that time..
I had no intention to be stingy, just making sure my bases were covered is all.. I assure you, I will try not to let it go to waste..
Comments
after I submitted my key code it said something about "beta 1" but I thought that was this past weekend??
This past weekend was actually the 3rd weekend test, I believe.
If you signed up for beta on the swtor.com site before Nov. 11, 2011, DO NOT use a code from a gaming site or you may not be invited.
These codes are for those who had not signed up yet.
