Every player around Europe and NA can play on NcSoft servers! There is no limitation! And yes, I would go to play on the NcSoft servers instand of Innova, even if I am from europe! I don't know, but NcSoft looks like they are starting to take their shit together! But that can be just me

If you decide to play on NA server than prepare to wake up deep in the night for sieges/raid bosses timers etc.

The update goes live on the 30th of Novemeber yes.No PTS which sucks i mean we are supposed to choose our mains to become one of the new classes but we dont even get to test them really........ but i welcome the patch
From what i have seen on the Russian servers its amazing...the animations for the skills are so vibrant and its some of the best game design ive ever seen.It looks like lineage 3 to me but there is still a hint of what lineage 2 has always been left in the world ......
I always said no game will beat lineage 2......that remains true imo and i am so happy this game can now grow instead of them shutting down the last 2 servers in NA/EU.With so many crap mmos out there this one can now truly shine with the hype its getting.
Think so... NCWest said that with the release of GoD, L2 would go F2P...
PTS not really necessary as the classes are being simpliefied. The only good argument is how will the new enchanter class play? Tank, rogue, warrior, mage, summoner, healer, archer are all straight forward.
Look forward to awaking my characters.

Um PTS is VERY important. Right now dagger is a very strong class and i play it as my main. In the update daggers are the weakest class. If i did not do my homework i would have stayed dagger as my main character i have put lots of time into and been really pissed off to get nerfed down to the weakest when im a DD and that is why i chose dagger.
Because i looked at the game on Russian servers i now know my plan of action... many people will not have 1 without PTS and its really unfair on them to make such drastic changes to the game and not give them a chance to test things and decide.
There is also nothing simple about the new classes.
LOL you nabs. Hope you understand 2 things with F2P.
1.) Companies go there when they have already decided to pull the plug but hte round table commity of investers asks for 6 more months of Free to play gamble...which leads us to #2...
2.) F2P = Play more than you would in a subscription, BUT ONLY around end game. So yes, lvl 1-20 is a fun free advertisement of pointless grinding. Then when you look around and realise your beard needs shaving, you have two choices. Leave the PC and shave. Or stay because you have invested time, and now no one wants a freebie in their dungeon party, so you will sit there and pay to play. YAY! (and yes this applies to girls as most girl MMORPGS have beards).
Enjoy the fail. Stick to single player RPG's box version (SKYRIM) or go play pen and paper, to better yet. Go play outside
Nice trolling there dude! Read the NCWest F2P to start with and then try to troll like this again...
2) Lineage II is FULLY F2P without forced subscription. On NCWest servers there is NO OOPTION TO SUBSCRIBE and the game will (try to) live from the cash shop. The Innova (Russian) servers DO HAVE OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION but that only gives extra XP (no drops!) and allow you to open a non-subscribed extra box on your PC (boxed buffer/healer mostly). Not sure though what Innova EU will do with their F2P, but I guess it'll be the same as the Russian servers.
Srry, but i prefere to wait for Innova, NC never menaged to stop botting and cheats when the game was p2p and they will dont do this on f2p game. At least russian fixed this on their servers.
Same thoughts here, thought I did not yet uninstall my NCWest L2 client. Lets hope that they'll ditch GG and start using something else instead. If GG is ditched, I might stay on NCWest, if not, I'll consider Innova, or drop L2 all together and wait for ArcheAge (while playing SWToR in the mean time)
Im not telling you to NOT go to NA servers when you live in Europe, but keep in mind that the servers will be located in the US and all the times for things like sieges and Events will be in the middle of the night for you as it goes by US time.
Not entirely true. Naia will keep EU times for sieges & olympiad. Of course, it's still unsure what might happen to Naia when population drops so dramatically that it'll become a ghost town...

Changes to PTS and Launch Plans
The launch of Goddess of Destruction is almost upon us! As we finalize specific launch details, we had to adjust some of our original plans. One of the changes included the cancellation of plans to host a Goddess of Destruction PTS before the game update launches. We understand that this inconveniences players by eliminating the possibility to test the Awakening classes before having to choose which one they will become. To alleviate this problem, the full patch notes for the eight Awakening classes and for the Awakening race skills have been posted to the forums early. In addition, positive plans have changed regarding the Stone of Destiny: the item will be available to characters of lower level, and for longer than originally planned. More details about this event will be published in the future.
On November 30, 2011, Goddess of Destruction launches Truly Free, with many positive changes to Lineage II bringing more fun and excitement! We value your loyalty and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this time of fast changes.
nc west has stopped botting on their servers. I saw 1 bot the other day but have not seen any in months and months.
They didnt do much about pvp ranger bot though but you no longer see bot trains like it used to be at all.
I have an L2 eu Nc soft a/c but i will go with which ever company offers the best value and least restrictions which at the moment looks like the NC soft service
