I was wondering and searching thourgh every site that i know if, this weekend is going to be a swtor beta weekend or next weekend?

Next, Thanksgiving Day weekend. They want to see how many turkeys they can get to play.

Why would they do it on thanks giving one alot of people are going to there familys gathering to see each other it does not make sence to me. But i cant wait to play the game anyways.
Same reason decent video games never come out when the kids are out of school. O.o
thanksgivings on thursday, i got friday saturday and sunday all to myself.
That's a shame. I registered for the beta weekend but I'm going to be busy with thanksgiving. I guess I'll have to wait until release unless I can sneak in some computer time.

The Thursday is the Holiday. If you are taking a 4 day weekend, you are just being lazy.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them?

When you think about it, it's the perfect time. Many people, including those in school, will get a 4 day weekend due to the holiday. I'd venture to say there will be more people available to test the servers from the 25th-28th than a regular, non-holiday weekend.
Good point. Though many of us are busy with family-type things, I'm sure there will be tons of people with time off. Almost every college in the United States will get at least 3 days off and some even more. I even know of some high schools that give an entire week off for Thanksgiving (I wish I got an entire week off!).

Eh, as some folks pointed out...it is an extended holiday weekend for most, including high school and colleges. Additionally, they maybe figure, hey, lets get even more folks to test out the beta. If they like it, its the perfect shopping weekend to pre-order, and they may very well have specific marketing ploys during the Black Friday weekend with that in mind. It might actually be a smart move.

Yes ... Killing Christmas wasn't enough for them. They have to ruin thanksgiving too.

try to get beta key frome this site but when i redeem code msg say 'By redeeming this code, you are now registered for the following: MESSAGE NOT FOUND' ????
yeah, I got message not found too but it seems it now says code has already been used and its applied Beta Event #1 to my account so i assume it worked, I sent a message to support though just incase, no response as of yet. Just thought I'd let ya know you're not the only one.
