Since the NDA has been lifted, here is my review of the SI levels 1-9.

I tested BH, SW, JK, IA, and SI. The first four classes have abilities that gel very well. JK and BH in particular can unleash combos that take out entire groups without being hit at all. Every class except SI/JC can pull mobs from 30m out.

The sith inquisitor has no ranged abilities at 1-9. None. They finish their intro quests almost two levels down from the other classes. They get 1/3 of the dark side points of a SW at the same level. Their abilities do not gel at all. They have to face pull everything and mash the Lightsaber button and hope they don't die.

After level 10, the class seems to improve in some ways. We in the beta are hoping BW addresses this stuff prior to launch, but I wanted to warn you guys. Don't judge this class by the first 9 levels. If this sounds like it's not for you, try another class. Overall, the game is great.

    But what about the CT in the BL?? If you cant get DPS over AC in DR the WTF!!

    As a Sorcerer, you can DPS at 30M.  It's not as high on DPS as other classes.  My impression of Assassins from the forums is that you have to face pull 1-50.  Testers who tried Assassins asked BW to increase their pulling range to 30M like every other class in the game, but BW responded by nerfing the range by 30%.

    Personally i dont think this is a review. Its criticisme.

     

    You should discuss these thing primary on the beta forums, that way Bioware can react to it and if deemed necessary improve it before release. Isn't that the reason they let you betatest the game?

    Ive played SI / Sorc to level 50...twice.  Sith Inq does have range abilities 1-9, they are just 10m.  When you choose Sorc as your AC your range goes to 30m on those same 10m abilities.  Granted 10m is very little range but its only for 9 levels so not a concern IMO.  I agree though that you shouldnt judge SI the first 9 levels and TBH it doesnt really get powerful until mid 30's and its mostly due to having enough talent points to give it that improvement.  Definitely a more fun class though once you get to your AC.  Sorc also gets an abilitiy in the talent trees fairly early on(if you pursue it) that is a decent AE range attack with short cooldown which improves kill rate pretty signifigantly, I believe its called chain lightning.
