[Mod Edit]

Lineage Eternal was announced with over 14 minutes of gameplay at G-Star this year, and I'm impressed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crftyKFB0gQ

Seeing the application of the touch and drag system legitimately sated the cynic in me for at least two, maybe three hours.

A small synopsis for those who are too lazy to read the description box on youtube videos.

"The game has a atmosphere that has seem to have, despite being a MMO, heavily.. 'benchmarked' Diablo 3.

The most notable feature of the game is that it uses a skill system where execution is based on a touch and drag concept. So you basically have to flick your cursor to use a skill like how someone in Harry Potter would cast a spell with their wand.
"

The only issue I see with this game is NCsoft being the core developer, after all, old habbits die hard. So you can expect them to "Asian it up" one way or another.(As offensive as that might sound, you know its true.)

On another note, you better have SLI'd 590's or you'll never see above 20fps T_T, hopefully the game becomes more optimized than what was shown.

Game play looks very similar to D3 for sure. I think they should keep the Korean voices and language, but have English subtitles (for the video and the game). That could just be me though.

I think it would be cool if they could make an mmo that wasn't boring as all get out that was like D3. I think it was Mythos that tried to do this and it was just horribly lame. There's something wrong with the mobs in a Diablo style game standing around waiting to be harvested.

I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

    Again with the Innovation!

Innovation can be to create something new, or to renovate and create something better, more effective.

Actually, you'd better not that's unsafe unless it's the Asus Mars II, in which case, you'd better have more than one power supply to handle that load.

I am not sure the purpose here,i assume after watching the video that yo uare talking about a clone of Diablo 3?

IMO that is not hard to top lmao,we are talking 1990's gaming here with 30x30 maps ,ancient overhead view aka command N Conquer.Tons of mobs that are al lcopies of each otehr is easy to pull off.Epic games has a demonstration to show just that and in high poly/ hi resolution mode and it wil lwork on the xbox 360.

Trust me nothing Blizzard does is hard to top, they make real cheap games, luckily for them people wil lpay them for it and make them rich.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Unless the thing your are renovating is archaic and boring to the point of neaseum. Which is the case for a lot of the mechanics in MMOs these days ... for me at least.

LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already :)

Could've sworn innovate and renovate are two seperate words, with two totally seperate meanings.

Me too but I was never interested in a isometric game untill that is when I saw videos of L/E,  I just hope its not a lobby game.  Perhaps future updates will shed some more light on the subject for me and calm my fears.

Do we have any official English site / info on this? Release date or anything?

I don't want to get intersted in a game if it's never coming here lol.

It was literally announced this month, I'm pretty much in the same boat, as I have little to no information about this game.

Publishers tend to release info around 2 years prior to the game being beta tested or launched.  Rift, Tor, Tera, GW2 all seem to follow this trend and i'm sure L/E will be the same.   Expect a long wait.

Honestly I don't see the appeal. Warrior type class using the exact same animation for every attack and kills every enemy in one hit... That doesn't sound very fun.

Why do people insist on calling something a 'clone', hell, there were isometric action rpgs well before Diablo hit the PC!
