World of Warcraft: Chuck Norris Featured in New TV Spot

MikeBMikeB Community ManagerAdministrator RarePosts: 6,555

The celebrity of Barrens chat himself, Chuck Norris, has finally been featured in one of Blizzard's on-going series of celebrity TV spots for World of Warcraft.

Of course, what would this TV spot be without a Chuck Norris joke of its own?

Chuck Norris didn’t break a sweat filming the newest World of Warcraft television spot. Instead, he made the director cry and then cooled himself with the tears.

so im assuming after this video the Monk class will have a roundhouse kick skill with stun effects? although the vid shows a hunter..... ;)

edit: there should be a "Norris"  title (and achievement) coming with MoP :D

Isn't Chuck Norris in his seventies?

Even ignoring hair color, dude has aged well.

No where near as good as the ones they made a few years ago, but at least WoW just admitted to only have 10 million now.  So now we have a possibly legit number.

Was it the best delivery? no. But this goes out to all the couch potatos, if you put it in perspective  it's pretty cool. You're acting like like blizzard are someone you would expect to take pop culture references to the next level? If you look at their games, they are full of references to others(many old ones).

It's fine you don't like WoW, but the hatred against this game on the site is so pathethic. It's so unbeliveable biased and narrow minded to think that WoW and Blizzard are somehow the enemy.

People here got it so very very wrong.

It was ok, I don't understand why video gamers like Chuck Norris so much, so I don't really find him being in it very cool or anything. I thought the Mr. T one was much better.

Why is Chuck Norris a Hunter?

I'll assume as this joke went over your head that you are not familiar with the Chuck Norris jokes/meme that have appeared both in game and out.

Because if they had his character be a monk like it should have been, they'd have to get into the whole Kung-fu Panda expansion, which is just too embarrassing for a national TV spot.

Yet World of Warcraft continues to be the 800lbs beast in the MMO industry, and no one has come even close to taking it title .. Boooyahhh!!
