SWTOR website Choking under the Beta download Pressure.

Not sure about anyone else but I'm having a helova time getting into swtor.com
I have a hard time logging into my account, and when I do actually get in, the download page for the beta just times out.
Good stress test for the, I suppose.
Hopfully I can get the beta downloaded before the weekend starts.

I'm not having any trouble with the actual download. In fact, I'm nearly done with it. The website though...that's another story entirely. I got the 'Site is down for maintenance' message a couple times, mixed with site content. I did finally get all my security questions answered, and also get my rsvp done by hitting the 'Try Again' and 'Resubmit' buttons a few times. Once that was done, the rest of it has been working like a charm.

Yeah, I had the same. Spent about 30mins refreshing and trying again to get my security questions answered and my rsvp done - Download was fast though. 18+GB downloaded and installed in about 4 1/2hrs - was maxing my connection most of the time
Maybe they should take a tiny bit of that bandwidth away from downloads and onto the website....

Ok, what I like to know: if I interrupt the download, does it continue? Or restart all over? (It always restarted Vindictus, that's why I ask.)
EDIT: Ok, the launcher does not log me in, when I type my email and password, it says Password or Security number is wrong. I just changed my password a week ago when SWTOR asked us to make new passwords, so I am fairly sure it is right. Also I can't go to the official website, it kinda does not show. Anyone??

I started the patcher about 2 hrs. ago it is doing well almost finished.
Read the stickies in the beta forums, guys. Well...when the site comes back up from scheduled maintenance, which was posted in a sticky
Not choking. There is a sticky in the beta forums that there would be maintenance on the website starting tonight, and that the website would be down. There was an update that it was going to be delayed until tomorrow, but there may still be some backend work going on.
It should continue. I have not stopped it myself, but it has failed in the middle of a download before, and when i restarted the client, it picked up where it left off.
